Yield and No Code must be your top two albums, respectively. And you are most definitely not a fan if you like Ten but not No Code.
Well I guess it's time to revoke my ten club membership! Oh, and I don't really like Neil Young either. But it's his voice. If he sang Pearl Jam songs instead of Eddie, I wouldn't like them. On the other hand, whenever Eddie sings a Neil song, I like it!

now hey wait a minute, i may be 19 but i've been trying to listen to other people besides what pearl jam tells me to! first off i gotta listen to other bands i liked from the 90s (ie: soundgarden, AIC, live, tool) then i gotta listen to other bands that i like in the 70s (ie: led zeppelin, the who, the clash, the ramones [lotta english "the" bands ]), and 60s bands like the doors, the beatles (just picked up a john lennon LP today:)) and thats just rock music! i also listen to classical, jazz, pop (some...), R&B... it's hard trying to keep up with all these bands' music, discover new music, while trying to go to school and hold down a job

Rule #1523: To all the younger fans out there, please stop boasting how young you are it just makes the rest of us feel old. :P;)
Actually this is just more of a stereotype of the forum members.......but these are just things I have noticed (oddly, I do not fit hardly any of these)
You must love Neil Young
You must love Pearl Jam opening acts (My Morning Jacket, Deathcab For Cutie, Wilco, Liam Finn, Wintersleep, etc)
You must be middle - upper class
You must travel all over the US to see PJ live
You must be liberal
You must see PJ every chance you get to, every night if they are playing multiple nights at the same venue
You do not think Ten is their best album, in fact you probably think it is one of their worst along with the rest of their best selling records
hahahaha. I agree with all these except middle - upper class. I'll be a Pearl Jam fan even if I don't have food in my stomach or a shirt on my back.

sorry but look at it from your point of view, you're probably 200,000 numbers ahead of me on the 10c list and have probably been serious with the band a lot longer than me! as much as it probably gets annoying to hear how old you are, it's also annoying to hear about the millions of times people have seen PJ 1st row! GRRRR SENIORITY! it should be based on how well you do in a quiz or something

Unfortunately I'm one of the idiots who let their memberships lapsed. :(
That should be a lesson for all 10C youngins' out there. Though, I thought they don't do seniority seatings anymore?
...18th row was my best PJ seats thus far. I did have better luck with Eddie's solo shows though.

ohhh that sucks... :( 18th row is cool though! the best i've gotten was all the way in the back on the floor at MSG which was actually pretty good seats, better than what i thought they would be! one of my friends would complain to me about how his number is like 198xxx, but my number is 317xxx... it makes me want to punch him
oh, and i've thought of another one, it makes me sad to hear when people talk about recording pearl jam monkeywrench radio or whatever it was in '94 or something.. and when i hear all these cool stories about going to europe in 2000, i was only 11! i yell at my mom sometimes that she waited to give birth to me instead of have me at 13 like a true puerto rican! (me and my dad also got mad at her for not whoring herself out to lance mercer when we met him at that book signing a few years ago, he totally fell for her, but that's another story )
I wasnt all that serious.........I guess sarcasm doesnt go too well over the internet

1. Well let me see I'm 39 and LOVED Neil Young starting in about 1981 or 1982, well before Pearl Jam was even thought of.
2.I liked MMJ and Wilco before they ever opened for PJ and I also liked King of Leon before they ever opened for them.
3.I barley get by as it is, middle class would be a stretch.
4.I live in Texas so if I want to see them I HAVE to travel, I also saw the Grateful Dead 169 and traveled all over the country to see them, so it's not really a big deal for me, it's just another band I travel to see, nothing new.
5. I'm not a liberal or conservative, I have views on both sides.
6.I see the band once a year if they are touring and go to wherever is closest or wherever I have friends close by that I can stay with, if they are playing multiple shows I do go to all of them.
7.While Ten is not my favorite, Vs. is my favorite, I do NOT consider Ten one of their worst, it's my 2nd or 3rd favorite.
