WTF is going on here in Texas and some other States? I was downtown having lunch when all of a sudden two guys walk out of a restaurant both dressed like cowboys. I mean cowboy hat, boots, big buckle, and had on wrangler jeans. It looked like he was dressed up for Halloween. I told my friend "I hope they are about to get on their horses". Nope, they got in a Ford Truck. Look, I know it's Texas, we are "where the west began" and blah blah blah, but WOW! What would happen if I dressed up as an Indian and walked around town like that? Sorry to vent, but my friend said that one of them even had on spurs....What the hell??

No they weren't tourists, (It was a Tx license plate) you see it a lot in North Texas (Fort Worth and Dallas) but I guess they want to be cowboys! :D

I am from Denton, and my brother lives out near Waco. I sh*t you not--when he isn't being a chiropractor, he is decked out in full cowboy regalia. Hat, shirt, jeans, boots, and a big ole' buckle (fishing tournaments give out REALLY, REALLY big ones). They do have horses, and he's good-looking, so it works for him...

I have seen some doozies out there, but actually wearing spurs is another thing.

    Take care.

I'm scared to find out! I do know of a place in Fort Worth called the "Stockyards" (they actually have some fun clubs up that way...) and they are all dressed liked this with spurs and all.

Hey! There's a bunch of "german cowboys" in Vancouver. I swear they all hang out together and have some sort of club....They wear the boots, the shirts, the bolo ties, and HUGE belt buckles....it's very odd...

It kinda sounds like wannabe country bars in northern alberta, they sound like they're dressed the same, only northern alberta cowboys are displaced from Newfoundland...but when they get to Alberta, some of them turn into cowboys. It's strange really.
