I had an argument with someone here today..we discussed the issue on both sides

I felt it was settled between the 2 of us

Next thing I know I'm getting an IM from my boss asking me to call him at my earliest convenience

I though men handle it like men and thats it..apparently not

I know..I told his immediate supervisor what happened and he said the 2 stories were identical on what was said

The guy I had the argument with has had arguments and issues with other people in the department

Let shit go...be a man about it...no need to get Management involved

Sucks - I would wait for a time when your boss is alone and just address your concerns.

    Thanks man

    Thats exactly how I feel

I told him after the incident I have to talk to my boss he said "Why ? I'm cool with everything..I went to my Supervisor because I've had things in the past I thought was squashed and that person went and told on me."

How many issues can a person have where they have to cover their ass ?

Yet, I'm made to look like the bad guy here

    That isn't on at all!!!

How many people have told on him??? What is this jr high? Seems like everybody now wants a hand holding. See if this goes in your file because it seems if they want you to take harassment training again than that will go in your record and you don't want that especially given that this guy sounds like a clown.

I talked to my boss again and he said it wont affect my record or my review at the end of the year...if it happens again they would have to take disciplinary action and we'd be heading to HR

This is just a verbal coaching

From now on with this guy its strickly business related no personal talk and like I said he will be on a different shift shortly

i hate when things get blown out of proportion!! glad that nothing is going into your file and you won't have to deal with him anymore.

in my lovely world of retail...my store merchandiser is notorious for holding grudges for a ridiculous amount of time. she barely utters 2 words to me at work due to who knows what...though i think it's because i folded a tank top a different way than she originally set up....wait for it...A YEAR AGO??! i know it sounds ridiculous...and i was suprised to find out that someone could get so upset over a fucking tank top

we are suppose to be running this store together....and i have to force conversation with her. she refuses to be cordial in any way. i'm soooo happy to be leaving for seattle in a few months!!

and this is why i hate working with all girls...some of them are so petty.

**sorry to rant...it's been a bad day**
yes...i do feel like a human. i do not feel like a tree.
