    Then the two remaining teams with the most points in the Eastern Conf would make up the 2 Wild Card spots.
    that's what i kinda thought but wasn't 100% sure. so the two remaining teams would be the 7th & 8th seed even if let's say they have a higher point total than the 3rd place team in one of the divisions?

    I'm glad giroux didn't make the canadian team. He obviously wasn't 100% when the season started and now he gets to rest during this stupid break.

    Also, I think this team is best when meszaros and gustafsson are in the lineup. I think grossman is the worst defender on the team...would love to see him scratched more often, or even traded at the deadline. They can use Gill as their 7th dman.

    If it was the reverse situation, we'd want the same result. Tough call on the official's part. I don't understand why they reviewed if you can't review contact calls unless it was to see if the puck went in before the contact.
