    The reasoning was that Bryz was going to be the big-money starting goalie, and therefore Bob wasnt going to get the playing time to help develop his skill behind him.

    Flyers dealt him to CLB for a 2nd and 4th Rounder last year and another 4th Rder this year.

    Bobrovsky was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Columbus' second-round and a fourth-round picks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and Phoenix's fourth-round pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.[7]

    either way....still a long ways to go to see if he is even NHL material.

    i'd rather have Bob and some Defense man vs. iyla and the crap contract.
    but then again, we might still have carter and richards if they didn't go after iyla.

    saw on twitter today, homer is generally happy with the roster and has no plans on blowing it up this summer

    True, he still is at least 4 years away if he keeps developing.
    Then again the Flyers would prob throw him out there next year.

    Its a pipe dream at this point.

    8 Games to go.. 7 Points behind the 8th place Rangers.

    I still like what this team has done this year. Season was a disaster with the stupid schedule and injuries, but they kept all the young guys together at the deadline. And I like the mason move a lot.

    Amnesty Bryz and especially Briere (thanks for coming off the IR turdboy). Rebuild the defense...sign another vet goalie to compete/share time with Mason...grab a couple of vet wings. This team is pointed in the right direction.
