    This team is fielding an AHL level defense, multiple injuries up front, and they are 2 pts behind the Isles for the 8th seed with 11 games to play.

    1-3 specifically, but 4-7 look like a decent tier as well.

    8 if you like Darnell Nurse who cracks the top 7 on some lists. I saw him play a few times this season for Soo Saint Marie. Very big, but didnt really appear to me as a top 10 talent. Scouts know more than me though, of course.

    They can drop Bryz, but things aren't going to get better until the D is addressed. Put a 4x6 brick wall in front of the net and w/ the D hanging it out to dry, like try did to Bryz so many times, pucks are still going to be given up

    I can see the Flyers drafting Monahan somewhere in the 6-7 slot. They always go for best player still on the board.
    Plus he is a big Center.. and Canadian.

    Flyers cannot develop Defense worth a crap. Always impatient.

    I'll bring this up: It's absolutely sickening that Bob is on his way for Vezina contention behind the Columbus Blue Jackets.

    It speaks volumes about this organization: Ed Snider, Holmgren and Clarke.
    Also guilty are the Fans themselves and the awful Philly media. There is NO patience with the youth.. and this is what happens.

    They just do not let Goalies or young D-men develop over time..which needs to happen in those positions.

    What did we get for Bob and what was the rationale for trading him? Couldn't he have been Bryz's backup rather than some aging, half qualified goalies?
