so Holmgren fires Hextalll knowing he is * wink wink * stepping back from being President after hextall had to make up for the mess he created.  Me thinks Dave Scott might have realized that there was no good reason for Paul Holmgren to be President of this franchise and nudged him aside.   let's see how Fletcher moves this franchise along.

I hated when they re signed Elliot.
That Behind the Glass show on the Flyers training camp started last night. Good stuff coming from the coaching staff. I like what I heard.

Farabee not on opening roster. what a joke this franchise is sometimes. now they are saying it is for cap reasons. maybe the reason they are always at the cap is they continually sign average or worse veterans (im looking at  you kevin hayes (7 years at 7 million a year...jeez, tyler pitlick, etc.).  they will start slowly again and bring up the kids later and be good from that point on. why wait? why are Farabee and Frost not on this team now?

2-0! The last 5 minutes of the 1st period the Devils dominated. The Flyers took it to them the rest of the way. Nice win and that save was unreal.

Simmer is a great.  Still love him from Kings days, when he was more of a fighter and 3rd /4th line instigator than the player he became after the trade.
All fans should love the guy.

The love he receives is the love that is saved

Its nice to see we may be seeing a deep and enduring demise of the Penguins.  New Jersey also promises to be a spectacular tire fire if this continues.

They just did a large renovation on the arena. I imagine this stuff is all the old electronics,  etc.

yeah it's kinda odd . I was wondering do they have a storage full of stuff? I guess they replace it everytime someone uses it?

Vigneault has this team playing very well.
If there's one player that seems out of place on this squad, its Jake Voracek

yes, nice run they got going.  didn't think there was any chance they could win both on the weekend. Love Farabee.  Elliott has played really well this year so far.

Frost looks good. G had 2 goals in which he didn't even have to move his stick, perfect passes.
