    I agree with your first part wholeheartedly.

    I totally disagree with the 2nd part though. The kid's father abandoned him when he was young and he had no male influence in his life. Maybe if he had a father around he wouldn't have made some bad decisions. And to call execution for robbery a form of natural selection, I just shake my head.

    And as a minority who grew up a block from the victim did and who lives 12 blocks away from him now and 3 blocks from where the robbery took place, I was offended by your comments.

    So you propose that ridding the world of young black males because they are more likely to commit crimes is an admirable thing then? rather than sort the problem out at the root, just blow the fucking stem off? Intelligent concept...

    What gets to me about opinions like this is, vigilante law seems to justify itself on a moral basis, regardless of the fact it just perpetuates violent crime in itself.

    Ok, then we have should have the legal right to hunt down and shoot someone if they rob us? Where do you draw the line? If a kid steals a pack of gum from the local mini-mart, can the clerk shoot him?

    Both people here were wrong, and I have no problem with the old guy getting sent to jail.
