My wife is in full "I want a baby" mode

Every night we have been doing the deed

Now I know how she feels when I would hound her all the time

    ;)

I am truly sorry... about the baby part. No amount of sex is worth that.

    different times of the month.

Y sperm swim faster but die off sooner. X sperm are a wee bit slower, but live longer. so basically, it's said if you want a boy, have sex right at the start ofovulation. if you want a girl, have it a couple days ahead of the start of ovulation. if you just want to have a baby. do what you and your wife are doing...go at it like bunnies to increase the likelihood of a pregnancy, period. obviously, none of this is 100% guaranteed....just ups the chances.

We'll be watching TV and shes on the Laptop all night looking things up

    Different websites and message boards

    Its consuming her !

We have twins on both sides of the family...I wonder what the likely hood of twins is for us ??

Well at least they didn't recommend it DURING the act  That would just be dangerous :p

I've heard old wives tales about that...not sure how much truth there is to them....but just remember the sex of the baby will be determined by you - so it's all up to you now!

Yeah we don't want any mishaps ;)

My family is mainly boys...although my brother broke the trend and has a baby girl

well there is a ridiculous amount of information out there! i actually know quite a lot b/c once upon a time i did think i wanted a child, so we did a lot of 'research'....and all, but then sure, we wised up. ;) haha. seriously, j/k....we realized, not for us....but totally HAPPY for those who choose to have a family!

don't get overwhelmed with it all, just enjoy it. :D truly, you read stuff, talk to doctors, etc.....SOOO much, information overload. honestly, it's said it's a wonder anyone gets pregnant given the small window of time for it to truly happen. but hey, people have been doing so without the help of todays science since, well, the beginning of people.

and i do hope she's already taking her pre-natal vitamins. :)

    oh yea....and please, boxers or boxer-briefs. :D

it's a great time so enjoy, and obviously...be supportive. especially if she has friends who are also 'trying'. i know for many women it can be frustrating if it doesn't happen right away, if a fiend gets pregnant first, etc. people, and women especially, seem to stress themselves out unnecessarily about it all, which in turn, really isn't conducive to good sex, and pregnancy. it'll happen when it happens, at it's own pace. i believe for those under 30 it's said to try for a soldi year before seeking medical advice/intervention and over the age of 30 try 6 months first. i think the odds for most are good, and manage all on their own. :)

    Enjoy! lol

When my wife and I decided to have a baby she wanted it all the time. She stressed out about it, which was annoying, but understandable. My attitude was stop taking the pill, and we will see what happens. It took us about 12-18 months to get pregnant. No "help" from doctors.

If we had gone 18 months to a year, we might have consulted the doctor; however, we had already decided to adopt if pregnancy did not happen. At any rate, we now have a beautiful, friendly, and fun baby girl.....almost 8 months old!

I would try to discourage her obsession in getting pregnant. It will happen when it happens. The most I would recomend is taking ovulation tests and figuring out on which days she ovulates. Make sure to do the deed during those days. Other days it really does not matter, and obsession beyond that is not healthy. I know...easier said to quash this obsession than done.
