    Congrats to you!!!!!!!
    :)
    Have a healthy 9 months.
    :)
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
  • I wouldn't worry about it. Just give them love and you will get it back 1000 fold. Now if you read the other thread, you might think twice about taking parental advice from me, but there is nothing better than your kids wanting to take away all your time and energy. Nothing else is worth the effort.

    That's what i've heard...but i ain't buying it.

Therefore, my fetus/kid has been to 3 Pearl Jam shows already! ;)

Oh! and if anyone wants to donate some hand-me-down onsies, i'll gladly accept! :D

The kid has already been to more PJ shows than I have...

    Thanks!
I just read that this is your first! Yay!
    :)
Mine was completely unexpected too. :o
And I felt the same way...wanted to spend sometime being married, not having to stress about money and all that.
Babies are not as expensive as people will have you believe.
Borrow and buy used if need be. Use the fancy diapers the first week (Pampers Swaddlers) and then use the generic from the warehouse the rest of the time.
Babies don't need lots of toys and stuff.
And here is what no one ever tells you:
You really can't play with a baby. And they will just sit there and that is ok. Don't feel badly. If they are upset, they will tell you by crying.

Just toss them in the backyard and let nature take its course. That's what my parents did and just look at how I turned out...

Though there is alot of truth to what you are saying...fresh air and nature are great for kids.
And don't bundle the shit out of them....they don't need to be smothered.

I'm totally gonna be one of those over protective parents that won't let anyone touch my kid and it'll always have too much clothes on. I just know it!
