    1. Why isn't my mailman bringing my Bonnaroo boot Cds.....
    2. I really should study because I have slacked on my schoolwork for the past 2 months......
    3. I hope our dogs like the new one we may be adopting today - the last one had to be sent back to the foster home because she attacked my oldest dog :(
    4. What do we name the new dog if we adopt her.......?
    5. I hope the contractor who is building our deck does a good job.
    6. Hoping that my husband gets hired for the 3 month tour he is in discussions about.

    Thinking about how last night I finally had a conversation I've been waiting for and pondering what I would say for about 15 months and then realised that I didn't get the sense of closure or relief or resolution that I expected. I only have more doubt and anxiety over whether or not I could have said it better or if I shouldn't have said anything at all. I thought it would be a weight off my chest to have finally said some shit that I've been bottling up for over a year but I feel resolutely unchanged for having done it.

    If nothing else it was a step in the right direction though, I guess.

    funny, i've been pondering having a similar conversation for about the same length of time. that's been on my mind today.

    so have cigarettes.

    so has the fact that i was 2 for 4 on recent cd buys (hold steady's new one kicks ass, local h's 12 angry months kicks ass, nas's new one is pretty mediocre if not bad, and saul williams was a big disappointment)

    also that i've not had a day off in 2 weeks and i want to sleep in tomorrow.
