    I dunno, it seems to me that the mods give plenty of warning before anyone gets banned. Isnt true that the people permanently banned were temporarily banned before? I think so.

    I have never even received a warning yet people tend to complain about the censorship?

    Please help me understand the problem. Stick to the subject and show respect for other people and there wil be no problems.

    Well, stuff that used to be acceptable apparently seems to be no longer and there is no warning for that. Also, banning seems to be random. I have received threats of physical violence and been told to "fuck off and blow [my] fucking opinions out my ass before get beaten" on this board from the same user on several occasions and yet he has never been banned for more than a few days. MCKB has never been mean to anyone and just because she inadvertently broke a rule she has received a lifetime ban.

    It's hard to know where we stand these days.

    I have plenty left, I just didn’t know what to say to your reply to me, I mean, I know people here know about the bannings, and I know people know they will continue to occur. I never said anything to the contrary. And I realize that this thread is in response to a deleted thread.

    But there was also a reference to not agreeing to lifetime bannings and locked thread about banned members (I can only assume she was referring to the bostonlou thread)

    Now, my whole reply was to the latter (that means the last part Champ), I was just saying (and I said this in a PM to Persephone) that no matter how good your ideas are the mods aren’t going to change the way things are. And I offered the suggestion of making a message board for all the banned members that are missed.

    As for the “more articulate” statement, I will admit that was a bit harsh but it wasn’t directed at Persephone and I assured her of that.

    Now Champ, if you’re still having trouble understanding what I was referring to just PM me and I will make a presentation using bullets, bars and graphs to simplify it.

    time-outs are ok... lifetime bannings suck simply because I know people who have lifetime bans that used to speak to people/meet up with people/etc.. and now they cant... and so that is kinda sad
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    as for MCKB/NKOTB....;).....well she asked how to change her name....dunk and i told her what to do but she did not listen :o and hence tried to creat a new account.....if the mods were at all reasonable they would not have banned her for what amounts to a silly mistake.....and as champ said, the mods were a lot more relaxed in the past......sad really

    You didn't know how to reply to me and yet I'm the one who doesn't understand? I don't exactly appreciate the condescending tone of your comments, but I do however understand that it is a defense mechanism in response to being beat up a little in this thread :)..Drop the attitude next time..or at least have the balls to stand behind your words ;)..

    that we did amigo... in fact she started a thread a while back asking how to change her username and i then told her how I did mine... she still ignored that advice... she's 542 beans short of a can of beans, but she's totally harmless and innocent...

    anyway.. i think her banning was a bit strange as even her thread explained why she had requested a new username... if Kat/Sea had seen that thread they would have seen it was NKOTB just being .. ehhh a bit blonde... she just wanted a new username..
