Should be a good game. I hear they sold like 70,000 tickets, so it should just about be a sellout. It will air on ESPN2 tonight at 8:00. It's going to be played here in Houston so there should actually be more Mexico fans. :(

Bite your tongue devil woman.
and I did bite my tongue...it was delicious.
football where the foot is actually used!?!?
thats what i'm talking about
go Mexico... 35000 travelling fans and only 11456 actually go back home
Yes yes. Real football. Our biggest rivals. Who are consistently ranked higher than us in the FIFA ratings yet we consistently beat them. Except for games in Mexico.
they do better than the US against bigger teams hence the ranking.. i mean the US have only to beat Easter Island for World Cup qualification
the US has a very strong team nowadays dont they? and if i remember rightly they beat England back in 1993... any team that beats England is alright by me
I wouldn't say the US team is very strong at this time. They're trying to find a good starting rotation. We got full of ourselves after the strong showing in the 2002 world cup and were flat out embarrased in the last one. Although I will say we played the Italians as good as anyone did. You're right, though CONCACAAF qualifying is a joke. Mexico is the only great team in our division. Costa Rica is decent but inconsistent. The others are at best mediocre.
i dont wear underwear and i still play it
I had an evening planned of watching "Arrested Development" DVD's, but I think those can wait another day or so.

thanks, but i'll pass watching you dribble your balls up and down (the field)
so, a bit like the US soccer team tonight, its your loss big boy
Dunk FORWARD all pics of said drubbling to me POST HASTE!
and, well come ON Mexico SHOULD win...
it's only fair. (but then I am still fighting the war, and to be honest the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo still gives me gas)
soccer can be entertaining at times...like when a player falls down trying to get a yellow card drawn on his opponent, when in reality it looks like he's been shot by a sniper in the 43rd row!!! some good acting out there!
FP...what war are we talking about here? And I have Dunk's pics locked away in a safe place, along with yours!!!
*fumes*
mexican american war.
I hate President Polk...what a douche
Sorry - I forgot you live in Cali and are still fighting that one!!! Much like some in the South are fighting the Civil.
aw me and her pic side by side in a betwixt type format
and that means you're outside a safe polishing your helmet..
i watch US football and there are so many flags its like watching the World Semaphore championship... flag.. no43.. breathing in a Sou,Sou Westerely direction... 9th and 16th down.. or something
Agreed 100%. That ref was terrible. Was he Mexican?! Too many ticky tack calls besides that.
It helps when you can actually breathe air and asshole fans aren't throwing bags of piss, batteries and semen at you.
Pretty solid game last night not so much of the usual crybaby diving routine.
The US has a great keeper.
Liked what I saw... obviously the US side is tremendously out of shape and it showed last night.
Almost every ref in the world calls ticky tack BS against the US so I wasn't really suprised.
Soccer/Football would be a lot better with out all the pussies diving for calls. It ruins the game.
why the hell was the 3rd US goal called back, I was watching Duke/Carolina and missed the overrule?
Mexico has more skilled players than the US thus the Rankings. The US must do a better job at the back especially where they were atrocious in this one and in keeping posession. Without the great keeper they would have been screwed. Every one of the defenders should be ashamed with that effort. The Fowards and Midfield looked promising at times though.
The coverage is so much better on Univision it's not even funny.
I watched so many World Cup games on UniVision in '06 that I actually learned to understand most of the football terms in espanol.

Yeah I drove my Fiancee crazy when we were down in Mexico during the WC watching it. I can't tell you exactly why it's better it just is. Maybe they are just more excited and into it.
It's lame hearing JP Dellacamera do hockey games so clearly he brings boring to Soccer too.
You're on the edge of your seat listening to a spanish broadcast. You could go to sleep listening to english game calling.
Still we suck when it comes to World Cups  As a mexican i have to admit, i like watching the games vs the US, it's a nice rivalry, i couldn't see the game last night...i live now in Germany and nobody gives a shit about CONCACAF
Let's see what happens in the qualifying round...it's been almost 9 years since Mexico defeated US in the States, definitely it's the only game worth watching in the region.
