Friend stops talking to me, and to my other friend as well.
Never returns texts, messages, emails, etc.
The rare, rare... rare time he does, they're very abrupt.
I offer my spare tenclub ticket to Washington, DC... which he needs...

and he quickly accepts - but has yet to talk to me anymore since.

I know what you're thinking, maybe something seriously tragic has happened in his life? Well, i dont... think anything has... from what i've found out - other than the every day stuff that we all go through...

So, am I being used?

    Yep, I've stopped talking to a few people since I found out they were only my friends when tours come around and needed tix.

    Maybe your friend doesn't have enoungh time to stay in touch due to the fact that he has met a girl and is on the receiving end of copious amounts of sex.

    Seriously, one of the hardest lessons I've learned (through the many decades I have roamed this planet) is that I use the term "friend" less and less to describe people in my life.

    To me, friend implies a deep explicit trust. And those who I call my friends, all be it few in number, are near and dear to my heart.

    If possible, can you recant your offer of the ticket? I know that reeks of massive douchebaggery but so does bailing on your friends!!!
