No, there isn't anything to do.

Yeah I grew up there - that's about right. No baseball, no music, no clubs. Its a pretty small town.

Okay, seriously what do you want to do? Most bands will go to Houston on their tour, there's symphony, ballet, opera, good shopping, museums, good restaurants - its a major city. That church of Joel Osteen? that place by I-59 used to be called The Summit, and I saw Springseen and Bob Dylan in there. Saw Patti Smith on the UofH campus, Queen at the Music Hall, which is now destroyed. Its a city. Go play and have fun.

Sugar land? Wow, I'm so sorry for you man. And Austin is about a 2-2 1/2 hour drive.

Hey, I was in Sugarland on Tuesday. Shoulda waved.

I live about two hours from there (1 1/2 if no traffic)

Astros, Texans, Rodeo, Dog Shows at reliant, eat at carrabas. Shopping.

    Buzzfest.

Woodlands is really pretty. Piney woodish.
Plantersville has a cool renaissance festival in fall.
Rice Village has interesting places to eat.
Harwin street is THE place for cheap costume jewelry.
Bryan/College Station is very hick college town.

  • I played in Houston back in August at a place called The Concert Pub. Cool place. That's about all I know. I spent more time in the airports than I did enjoying my surroundings.

I have lived here my whole life and I love it. There is a ton of stuff to do. You will like Sugarland eventhough traffic there is a bitch. You have pretty much all the same things here as any other big town. You have pretty much everything in Sugarland. There are some cool places to go. What do you like to do? I could probably point you in the right direction. Where are you moving from?

Hey, we were there too! We were in the pit, the first time ever, so awesome. I was standing near that guy that got picked from the audience to play Undone while Rivers went out into the audience. So cool!

It should be a good show. We are up on second level, but first row.

have a good time if you go!

  • I just hate how Houston is so fucking massive and they still haven't made decent public transportation in that city.

I just don't see how public transpotation would work. The city is so spread out and it's moving furhter and further out all the time. It would take a long time, and a whole lot of money to build a system that would work.

The thing is, it should have been built back in the '80s when Houston was booming. Finally they are trying to build a rail system, but it's too late. Driving in Houston is possibly one of the worst experiences of all time.

LOL. I have several friends that live out of town. When they come to visit they won't drive at all. I am always the designated driver :)

I agree. They should have built the light rail a long time ago. Now their trying to play catch up and its not working.

Yes, I would definitely agree with that. Its is an absolutely SHITTY place to live if you are poor.

It's not so bad. Wage rates are way above the national average and cost of living is pretty low. We have public transportation it's just not like it is in places like NY and Chicago.

Thats Awsome!!! I was in the reserved seats but the guy behind us was screaming so loud I couldn't hear half the time. Normally I don't mind but it was to the point I couldn't hear at all.

Hopefully this show will be better!!!!!

Finding an apartment that would be against the flow of morning traffic to the place i work was a top priority. i live on the edge of Houston, and i work in Sugar Land, so i kinda drive in the opposite direction of everyone else. I feel sorry for all those poor people on the other side of the freeway as i zoom by nearly traffic free.
  • Seriously, I love Houston and Dallas because it keeps about 10 million Texas retards stuck in those shit holes and away from me.

Saddle up, fellow retards!! Lets ride out of this shit hole and ride on up to Denver!

I love this comment coming from someone from a city who has 30% of their population at or below poverty level. Good job taking care of your homeless, Denver.

Yeah, no poverty or homeless in Texas. Nice try. Wasn't the trailer park invented in Texas?
