I love getting tipsy although I've sworn many times to knock it on the head!
My favorite tipple is wine, normally sweet or medium white and anything apart from rose which I hate. What's your favorite tipple?

PS- I took this idea from the beer polls that have been floating around;)

It really is better to accept it than deny it.

Love beer and wine. I live in CA, so wine tasting is right there. Basically, I like most every varietal of wine, so long as it's good, which of course, opens a whole can of worms.

    Favourite tipple... hmmm...

Newcastle Brown Ale or any cognac. Polarising tastes I know...

I know there's no accounting for taste, and your love of Jagermeister is commendable but your choice of beers saddens me Sian :( Cobra and Tiger are alright but Coors? ewwwww :p

I find I enjoy beers in proportion to how amusing their names are, preferably involving religious words + body parts. Almoner's Kneecap etc :D

    Real Ale for life.

When I was living in London (10 years ago, granted), I was fascinated that the locals who were "hip" were drinking Budwiser. Here I was, an American, drinking their ales, while they were drinking Bud out of a bottle. Crazy.

  • I drink to get drunk. No other reason. I stick to beer. Last couple of times I drank the hard shit it didn't end up so pretty. But, if I decide "Fuck it" once again, I'll reach for the vodka.

I also enjoy Jim Beam and coke but it seems like no matter how many I drink, they don't affect me at all.

    me too.

  • For me the only bad beer is one that hasn't been opened yet. Given a choice, I'm always going for a Miller but I have yet to meet a beer I would not drink.
Back in my harder partying days I would have taken an IV of Jim Beam and Coke though...my mouth is watering just from typing it. Mr Beam, he was my friend
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Mr Beam was also my friend.

He was often on offer at my local pub... ah the nights we'd spend together... :o

That's really bad Helen..you need to evaluate and look deep into this situation..there is no good reason to skip those few nights in the middle of a once in a lifetime streak like this..

put on a slow, dumb show for you
    and crack you up

Oh there are some which are NAAASTY!!!!
I defy you to try and drink Staropranen, which is a Czech beer and tell me that it isn't bad. There was another beer I tried years ago which was sooo bad I couldn't finish it! It was the cheapest beer going which would have explained a lot.

If you don't stop drinking, you don't get a hangover. The trick is to drink night and day until you die ;)

The downside to the method, of course, is the earlier onset of death ;)

Didn't you just move out of Ireland? I guess the old saying about you can move the girl out of the country but you can't move the country out of the girl, or something like that? I probably butchered the fuck out of that one..

Depends on your outlook on life frankly.

I've ingested some bad ones...just not one that I refused to finish HAHA! I have simply not found one I COULD NOT finish although I'm sure they are out there. One beer I really can't stand is Dos Equis though

Ok, so I just suggested tequila body shots and cocaine as refreshments at my mother's induction as a baptist minister tomorrow...

She told me that not everything in life is about drinking, especially not the beginning of one's christian ministry.

I told her I literally did not understand the words coming out of her mouth.

    Try Crone's Brew Cider.

One sip was enough for me... It's like drinking a pint of malt vinegar  Why oh why would ANYONE put themselves through that!?
