For Thanksgiving.....I'm looking at like 25 for dinner! Our company started arriving last night at my moms, and my company starts arriving this coming Sunday...it is a very busy week! I will have a dozen or more for dinner Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Wednesday....We better be going out!!

Christmas has changed a bit now since my fathers passing, so I'm not sure what we will do this year. It is always very busy with my own family...4 kids make a party in itself.

I spend the holidays with my sister's and kids. I hope my surfer friends will take me in the ocean while visiting.
I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef
Animals were hiding behind the Coral
    Except for little Turtle
I could swear he's trying to talk to me

  • Pre-Divorce it was my family (nuclear) or hers (Nuclear and extended). Now it's my family only. Except this thanksgiving I am going out west with a new friend.

  • Ideally, I would spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with just my hubby and our 3 girls. And that is pretty much what we do. But his family always has some Christmas gathering the weekend before or after Xmas which I never want to go to, but have to anyway. I don't like to go for any number of reasons: It's a 3 hour drive, no alcohol, there are all religious, no TV, I'm expected to help with the cooking/dishes, we have to buy gifts for each of the nieces and nephews, and so on and so forth. I can't stand it.
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

    Family....usually at my parents house.

I think I've only been away from home for TG....4 times.

...and one time it was just me and my mom, and the power went out. She cooked the turkey on the wood stove. :)

i spend my holidays with small terrorists whose only motivation is the availibility of batteries and the close vicinity of the beach. :)

we have a beach nearby.. but its december... and being 'blue' doesnt suit me
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
