fucking bummer.....during my pearl jam tour! i *just* got home from 7+ hours in the ER. luckily, no fractures, simply an acute soft tissue injury - aka a BAd sprain. how did this happen? i fucking tripped on truly uneven payment last night leaving the preparty on my way over to MSG. bout an inch difference between both pieces of pavement and managed to step on it *just* right to completely twist my ankle in the most contorted fashion and dropped like s tone to the pavement. KILLER fucking pain. :( :( :( however....NO WAY would i miss the show, so i simply sat on the edge of my seat all night with ice on my ankle. by the time we made it close to home, it was obvious an ER visit was in order. it SUCKED! well except - finally - for the percocet. :D sooooooooo...it blows! however, while i have to wear an air-cast and use crutches at least a week, i got the OK to drive and do the rest of my tour. and when i get back, was only a 3 day work week in any case, so already informed em i'll be out.

/end sad rant...altho i DO feel fortunate it's not worse.

btw becky girl - i know, i KNOW.....wtf is with me falling on tour....AGAIN?!! :p
Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    I'm so sorry...

I have had really bad muscle pain in my calf for about two weeks now... it sucks not being able to jump up and down :(

On the bright side, you could take inspiration from a woman I saw rocking out behind the stage during last kiss. She was waving her crutch like a maniac and was totally into it. Awesome to watch :D
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

Bummer. Very sorry, sprains can be the worst! I'm so glad you got the ok to continue though. My dad spent 40years on crutches and it didn't stop him, so go for it! I know you can do it. :)

1.) I'm so sorry this happened, and right in the middle of your pj days!!! I've had some pretty annoying sprains before, but nothing that requires serious medical attention...but I do have an idea of the pain you must have been/be in!

2.) You are a total rock star for going to the show in pain. :D That's some serious devotion! I hope they appreciate how loyal their fans are!! :D

I hope it heals quickly and thoroughly, and that it doesn't impede your rocking!!
