It does nothing for me, I could sleep immediately after having a soda or coffee. I think people just want to be addicted to something.

I can go to sleep afterwards, too. Do you drink it everyday? I seriously drink it everyday, two or three times a day and if I'm late getting my coffee in the morning, I do feel like shit.
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

Oh and by the way Jamie, why is it that, whenever you call me clever, I feel you are being sarcastic/slightly mocking? :p I don't mean to come across as a smart-ass. I get the impression you think I'm a bit full of myself, and I'm not. Honest :)

No, not being sarcastic buddy, just always impressed with you 'worldlyness knowledge' and your way of summing up :) Take a compliment when it comes your way will you ;)

Huh?? What?? What did I say?

You reffered to a Dr Pepper addiction, as if it was real, and not just a made up exageration and excuse, for someone to have a nice drink of pop... a bit more often than they know they should.

jamie what in hell are you rattling on about? sounds like you're the one that needs a cup of coffee...;)

    Pish.
I'm having a coffee right now, second of the day, I enjoy it is all.....I'm not addicted to it, but then I'm not American ;)
I reckon a lot of the time. people just don't burn off the nervous energy that buids naturally inside their bodies everyday.
Most people that are wide awake at night, are that way because of a lack of physical exersion, not because of some fabricated addiction to caffeine. :p

    *ducks, again*

Honestly, I have a problem with caffeine.

I normally have about 1 cup of coffee a day at work and 1-3 cups of tea at the weekend. If I have Red Bull etc (when i'm really tired) I have to sip it and not drink more than half a can at a time... Anymore and i'm bouncing of the walls and it's like walking on egg shells with me, too little and I get headaches and withdrawal! So I figure it's easier to stick to what I know...

    and I like it :p:D

Well, if you didn't keep falling off your bike, you could use up the excess energy that way :p
Try going without the caffeine, but take lots of water and fruit instead, the head aches may be a little dehydration. Like I know anything! :o

ANYWAYS... I've tried going without caffeine and I eat pretty healthy too, loads of salad and water... hmm... I might try it once more, just to blame you if it goes wrong and I get all headachey and tetchy :p

Tetchy can just mean you produce more natural energy than you're using up, go to the gym (if you don't already that is), hit a punch bag, have some fun with it. :)

*disclaimer* I have no idea what I'm talking about :p But it kinda works for me.....go to bed tired, everyday.

look as far as im concerned you english type peeps should not be drinking coffee/caffeine. you should all be sipping tea at 4pm with your pinky finger stuck out, a lace napkin resting sedately upon your lap, whilst nibbling cucumber sandwiches or scones smothered in cream and strawberry jam. :p:D:D
    hear my name
    take a good look
