Great results for N. Ireland and Luxembourg .. and glad you guys did well too :p

As someone put on the Beeb website "Is this real or has the world ended and it's all a dream?"

    So:

    Andorra 0 - 2 England
    Croatia 1 - 4 England

    *phew*

Oops: Slaven Bilic, "England can't play good football because they play predictable football. I expect us to win this group. I expected that two years ago and now definitely so. My team is definitely better than the one which beat England twice." He's a top bloke though

4 points from two games. Not a bad start. Trappatoni is doing well. Needs to put Andy Reid on though. Even if he is a fat bastard.

I'm casting my (ancient) mind back now.....and recalling that you may have ammunition against Dunk of all people. Didn't you beat the Scots, or at least draw? I seem to remember it being quite a shock result whatever.

Came down to one mistake (apart from Bale's missed penalty) and that was the introduction of Steve Evans to 'shore' up the defence.
Should've gone for the throat IMO and pushed for the winner. Wales were all over the Ruski's at that moment in time.
Still a proud effort though. Can't wait to get Bellamy, Gabbidon, Collins, Eastwood and Koumas back though

  • We have an Italian Managing us now, and the Immortal Liam Brady as assistant manager. With them, and Kevin Kilbane in the back four, we can't fail.

And I'll have you know I'm stone sober right now, for once. I have been eating a lot of biscuits though.
