What's the most romantic thing you've done?

    I did something I NEVER do...I took a risk...I flew to the other side of the world on the off-chance that what we felt for each other was real...that he was NOT a serial killer...and that he would be the love of my life...and he is :) (the love of my life, that is - not the serial killer) :p

    I asked my wife to marry me in a helicopter over manhattan in september of 1997. Usually when women find that out, it sets the bar pretty high.
    look into the eyes of the fallen.....you got to know there's another..another..another..another..way.

    When my wife and I got engaged my family and her family told her they were planning a surprise B-Day party for me and I didn't know about it...obviously

    In reality were planning a party to have everyone close to us at this party so I could pop the question

    She had absolutely no idea what was going on and people who knew were great and didn't ruin it

    I had a cake made up with purple flowers on it (her favorite color) and had them write on the cake "Will you Marry Me ?" After the party started I had the cake hidden and went to get it while she was distracted and placed the cake on the table and started to reach into my pocket for the ring. That's when it hit her what the hell was going on so she came over to me and I got down on one knee as she read the cake. She was crying and said YES

    Popped some champagne that I bought and the rest is history !

    I have no idea.. I'm only getting used to this whole romance thing pretty recently... I've done plenty of little stuff but nothing big and extravagant :o .

    Ooohh... I know. The other night I ordered a bottle of Leffe and got it in one of those fantastic proper leffe glasses... which we decided we should really keep :D

    But I decided he should have it :)

    There... that was romantic... right?

    something "romantic" someones done for ME was make me several discs with a collection of EVERY EVENFLOW ever!!! :D


    i dont know if this is romantic or not but it KIND of is.....
    last month i got a boxxx from the post office and filled it up with cookies & brownies i baked, and put together a bunch of little things AND added some pearl jam boots and other stuff and sent it to someone INCREDIBLE to let them know they were really special and important. :)
