I cant think what mine's is!! :(
many many years ago my friend was speaking to his gf on the phone and she said she loved Beef Pot Noodles.. so he hung up.. made a Pot Noodle and drove to her house.. placed it on the doorstep and then drove back home, rang her up and said there was a Pot Noodle on the doorstep...
we still ridicule him about it to this day... they split up about 4 days later... dont know if the Pot Noodle had anything to do with it but i'd have been scared if i was her.
i must have done something romantic!!!

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

That story is two parts romantic, to one part rage-filled.
- the great Sir Leo Harrison
if i did anything romantic then she'd just think I was after something.. and she'd be right
naděje umírá poslední
And that other business but I don't think that was romantic so much as really bloody stupid, but you live and learn I guess.

I've also tried the poem thing, but was told that I'm no Shakespeare....lol
Not by me! I seem to recall your poems were pretty good.

It made a bulge in my pocket so I had to stash it in the front of my underwear. So here I am walking to the beach with a buldge in the front like I have a erection, I kept messing with it b/c it was not plesant having it down there. If I adjusted it, she would look at me like (WTF are you doing with yourself) LOL
It looked like I was constantly playing with it. I told her I was going over to pee, (night time mind you), thats when I took it out. (the ring)
So we went and sat on a lifeguard stand to look at the stars. I told her I wanted to get a shell for her scrap book. I came back with the shell open and the ring in it and proposed. Thank god she said yes.
It was a good day.
Sweep the Leg Johnny.
That was about as nervous as I've ever been doing anything.
I'm ok marky. Hope you are too.
And your poems, well I liked them.

I did write a mad ghey "you don't know how much you mean to me" letters last week, and I got my boy back - so that was kinda cool, but don't know if its romantic or not

SMELL YER MA!
one example i can share, for my love's 30th birthday, i got this nice box and put 30 slips of paper inside, each sealed with a kiss, each that had a reason i loved him written on it so he could pick thru it every day and read a new reason
i *love* doing romantic things, or even just gestures of love for those i care about. everybody should feel special as often as possible.
some lemsips, lockets, balm tissues, hot water bottle, box of chocolates and a teddy bear...
meh, I thought it was kinda sweet
Actually, a couple of weeks ago he did something really ace for me.
I had some stuff stolen about a month ago including my bag. On my bag was a little badge of the Canadian flag. It was given to me by my biological Grandad the first time I met him when he flew over from Canada for Christmas 2006. I was gutted as this meant the world to me but I was resigned to the fact that it was gone. Dave came over to mine one day and said he had a present for me and produced an EXACT replica of the badge he'd searched for on ebay... I was so happy, it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me and now everytime I look at it not only am I reminded of my Grandad and my Canadian roots but also of my very awesome boyfriend
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
probably writing a poem.
We've seen them a few times since then but that was the first (and best actually...it was when they played in 'the round' on a revolving stage...good stuff!)
I don't know if thats romantic but I made sure she got to bed ok. I would have done anything for her.

oh, and i had already made homemade cake with a boiled sugar icing for dessert... (XXX)
umm, I think that is all I can safely say.
Oh no, can't get this image out of my head now
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
I had a ton of things on my plate, taking care of my Dad (full time), working (full time) and trying to renovate a house. I spent about 3.5 hours on the road every day, and although Matt tried, he never really understood all of the pressure I was feeling.
So last summer (I think) he took it upon himself to download a new PJ boot, stick it in my CD player and left a little note, something along the lines of I hope this will make your day brighter. This way I had some new tunes to rock out to as I made my way through town.
He did the same thing with a different show each day for about a week. EAch with a little note attached to my steering wheel.
Oh no! that really made me laugh!
I don't do romantic stuff. *bleaurch* (Excuse me).
I make fart sounds on his back to wake him up.
ahhhh now that is romance...I mean, I could just kick him.
What no tuna???
oh my GOD - that is what i am going to serve him this Friday...hahahahaaa!!!
*I am still quite bitter about it!*
Sounds like revenge is on the menu?

I have a proposal story but I didn't get married :(
the most romantic thing someone did for me after that was after I moved back to NY and ended up leaving behind most of my cd collection (looong story)
a guy friend of mine took me cd shopping to replace some of them (it was a date at the time. We are friends now)
