The NFL loves to screw over the real fans. They'd like nothing else than to have games be a corporate schmooze fest. Boring!!!! As much as I love going to NFL games (especially Eagles games!!!!), I still think the best seat in the house is on my couch.
    Rock on!

Yes, because being shitfaced, fighting, and yelling obscenities makes someone a real fan....

The whole "Philly fans are the worst behaved" is BS. I've gone to some METS games and those fans are 10 times worse.

And by the way, Santa was drunk.

Let's see them try to enforce it and how fast the first lawsuits are filed.

5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.

What would be the grounds for a lawsuit? You are willingly going to the game, and as long as the rules are clearly posted, you have to obey by them.

In this litigeous society people sue for any reason and no reason at all... not that I agree with it. But as long as the rules are supject to interpretation (either by security or those around you) there will be sufficient grounds to challenge ejection from a game or loss of ticket privledges.

That and it was FORTY YEARS ago and two stadiums ago. I wish people would give it a rest about that.

I mean LBJ was president when it happened and in PJ terms Eddie Vedder was 3. How is the Santa Claus thing at all relevant anymore?

LOL I remember my dad took me and a friend to a game when I was 11. My friend and I went to the bathroom and when we came back some guys wanted out seats b/c they saw they were empty. So my dad took off his gloves and to them both "ya try to take these seat and I'm gonna drop you both right now"
Hahaha my dad is a crazy fucker.

Nah, you didn't let me finish. My point is that his "Dad" or whoever brought him is the guilty party. Moreover, if he's from Philly and he's all decked out in niners gear when the niners were good (probably the case... cuz he said Montana), he was being brought up as a fugazi.... once again, the Dad's fault. His Dad (or whoever brought him) should not have done that to him. This Philly fan was teaching him not to be a dope. If you come in wearing other team's crap, be prepared to hear about it. It's common sense.

I don't disagree with this, however little kids kind of deserve an exemption or at least less harsh treatment methinks.
