they'll tease you even more if you tell them a cross-dressing person you know from the internet agrees with you!!!oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

Heineken Helen wrote:Do they? Well we don't really have a 'first date' one... since there were no real official dates. I met him at a PJ weekend in Norway so we pretty much spent the entire weekend together but with plenty of other people
and then I came to visit him and he came to visit me and so on and so on! So yeh, we have the day we met... I suppose we could use the date I moved over too

Black Diamond wrote:Not true! The wife and I have 3 anniversaries. The marriage one (10 years), the first date one (happens to be the day after my birthday, so easy to remember and note I did not get my first b-day present from her until year later so got screwed) and the day of our engagement. We got engaged at a hotel, so we now have a hotel night where we spend a night in a hotel and enjoy the city. That is my favorite.
awwww....we may not always officially celebrate em all, but we also keep track of those anniversaries. our first 'date' really wasn't a date per se.....we were at a party, left to go to the beach and then had dinner.......but sure, celebrate it b/c we shared our first kiss on that beach. sadly, that restuarant is no longer. our engagment also occurred at a resutaurant, which also sadly is no longer. damn, even where we had our wedding reception is no longer. amazing we're still together....;)
so yes, we just have to celebrate' where and how we see fit, and for those first date, engagement anniversaries, sometimes it's simply the acknowledgement of 'do you remember what happened today and when?'...and nothing more. as it's been over 21 years since that first kiss......i think it's all ok though.Stay with me...

moral of that sory guys is.. do not go to a meal with D2D... she'll either kiss you or marry you... and then the place will close down.oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

our 2 most fave restuarants are still in business, and have been the entirety of our marriage.it's just all the places that we frequented before we sealed the deal apparently.
bah! you say like kissing me or marrying me is a bad thing!

well seeing as we both are already married and living on different continents, i see no worries about us kissing, marrying, or being the restaurant industry's most hated couple.
besides, you never did buy me a drink in london as promised....and i don't date, kiss or marry cheap scotsmen.pinot768 wrote:LOL be ever vigilant, restaurant workers of the world...you never know where these two will strike...
and i LOVE eating out!
keeing on topic.....and we almost always eat out on our anniversary.

If that's the case then I have 365 anniversaries(won't do it on Leap Year though- that is my day of rest)
