That's one of the things why I love Europe. You have lot's of big cities very near. You can go from the UK to Amsterdan for the weekend (j/k Helen ).
The nearest and only big city that i have here is Buenos Aires (great city by the way)...I don't find myself going for the weekend to La Paz (Bolivia) or Asunción (Paraguay).... I mean, maybe I could have a great time there, but I preffer to stay in Santiago

Emmi, I'm not sure what airport we're flying into... if it's Amsterdam or Eindhoven... my friends sorting everything out so hopefully I'll know all the details tonight. I'm not sure if our names have been put on the flights yet.

So I heard from Neil and he's gonna show us around and gonna try and get Fraser out too.

thanks... and I will do. I'm just waiting for my friend to confirm that everything's confirmed... she's not the most reliable so until then I can't really get overly excited yet.

If you have time check out the old Heineken Brewery. It was 8 Euros and you get three glasses of beer and a great tour. And a nice buzz when it's over.

One of my friends sent me a postcard from the Heineken factory but I never got it :(

On the plus side though I did get the lovely parcel she mailed me from Amstersdam that brought much enjoyment to me and several friends!!

well that sounds like something I'm gonna HAVE to do... I'd also like to see the Ajax stadium... we'll see though. I had ONE thing I wanted to do in Oslo and I didn't get to do it so I no longer make plans.
