Yep, I found out some stuff about ROG over the weekend that I can't say... but suffice to say... WANKER :mad:

I think it's like the panellists said over the weekend... this team have gotten all they can out of Eddie... he now has his favourites and they know what to expect from him. They know they won't be kneecapped or dumped after one bad performance and I think they're too lacklustre.

Have you ever seen the picture of him at a party with one arm around his wife, and the other arm down his wifes' friends top having a squeeze for himself. Classic ROG. Everyone in Cork hates him.
I could tell you a few stories about ROG, having my two best friends growing up across the road from him. He was a bully basically, beat up my friend for no reason when he was 13 and ROG was 17. Hardly a fair fight!

Ya but for some reason he got a brand spanking new contract before the World Cup disaster. He's contracted for another 4 years I think. He should be putting in the new players and building for the future.

Declan Kidney should be given a chance but it won't happen.

Any thoughts on the 1st weekend of the Six Nations??

Pretty happy myself, as Wales made a great comeback against England.
Hook, Phillips & Ryan Jones get a special mention. Thought they were outstanding, particularly in the last 15 mins.

If we had half of Englands pack, we'd be unsoppable mate. I enjoyed that 2nd half though
I thought France looked very exciting, as usual, but then were the Scots just bad? We'll see.

Yeah, looked like the Scots had a bad day at the office. Hope Wales don't start off as poorly as we did last Sat again this weekend!

Shanklin coming in will make us stronger in my opinion. Interested to see young Jamie Roberts on the wing. He's a future Welsh full back for years to come.
Shame the excellent Alun Wyn Jones is out injured, but Ian Evans is a quality replacement.

well as we learn every year, they're pretty tough to call... any of them. England could well come out and hammer Italy... or they could struggle against them. Wales could hammer Scotland or Scotland could pull off their one big match. The only one that's pretty predictable is that we're gonna get hammered by France :(

Hey, hey. Have some faith! The scoreline flattered the French last weekend. The Scots were their own worst enemy. The French didn't really have to get out of 2nd gear. If the Irish get at them early & put a few point on the board the French could well crumble as they so often do when under pressure.

Personally I'm just hope Gatland makes sure the Welsh do go in against Scotland too over confident!
They should have enough to win, but they're gonna have to work pretty ahrd.

the french always just do what they have to do... although sometimes a lot more. Although Clerc's on the bench only... and Skrela's in at no. 10... which is good cos I HATE Clerc cos he's good... and I like Skrela cos he's capable of very very bad games.

Absolutely the scoreline flattered them... but the difference between them and other teams is that WE can play and play fantastically but if we don't have someone to finish it off... what's the point? And while we're slugging away playing the French at their own game, all it takes is ONE tiny lapse of concentration and they're through :( it's very fucking frustrating.

A confident welsh side isn't a bad thing. They fairly showed what they're made of last week... the game was over.

No WAY I'm watching a match like that in the pub I'll be at home... have no landline though so just the mobile which would be an EXTREMELY costly 80 minute phonecall so text-fighting it is then so

Wales and Scotland are on at 2 and then we're playing after that one... at 5 on Saturday

Good game from Wales again, Scotland put up as much of a scrap as they could, but wouldn't have crossed the line if they stayed out there on their own for a week.
At half time in France, I'd say France will make mince meat of anyone in this tournament...they look very special.

It was such a brilliant 2nd half and I dunno why the fuck we kicked the ball away at the end cos I really think we coulda got something... although apparently they still thought they had a couple of minutes which would explain it.

Somebody needs to take out Clerc... badly!

I'm not expecting us to win anything this year anyway so losing any other games won't actually be a big shock :( obviously I hope we don't but Saturday really brought this years six nations to life... Wales the only country with a chance of a grand slam... but they've played the shittiest teams... Ireland and France to come! So we'll see how they play when REALLY challenged. Whether France win the championship or not, I couldn't stomach them winning the slam... so whatever happens I'm happy

Nothing new there... we always do well to scrape past Italy... see my early posts in this thread... I wasn't too confident about beating them. We always start off shite, Italy always start all guns blazing but they lose confidence and all will to live as they go on and suffer loss after loss. So it's pretty much the same as every year really.

Ryan Jones, eh? Hmm... sounds familiar oh no, that's Stephen, or is it duncan ???? WAY too many Jones' and, being Welsh, they all look the same to me anyway :cool:
