Angelina Jolie for Basic Instinct, 1984, Lifeforce... basically any movie where a leading actress got naked.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Oh, no I haven't seen that version and no, I haven't read the book. Though it is on the shelf, collecting dust.
The original starred Sir Laurence Olivier and was scary in my opinion. :o

Hmm... I dunno if I did but I'm guessing I did... I went through a phase when I was about 13 of reading the Brontes and Jane Austin and stuff like that. Wuthering Heights was the only one that really stuck with me though. Probably helped that we studied it in school though... I still remember entire paragraphs from it :D

What more do you need to see? That's a quality moustache. :D

Despite the fact that I HATE moustaches... I have to agree :D

But hang on... since when do we not like Harrison Ford as Indy? :o

I remember once convincing a bunch of religious nuts that I worshipped Tom Selleck as a kind of excellent deity. :D But yeah, Harrison Ford is perfect as Indy. Even in the new one, where very little was perfect.

Johnny Depp as Heathcliff????? :o Anyone?

I imagine someone taller and more strongly built for that role...
Someone that could be made to look dark and brooding...

    hmm

maybe Olivier Martinez. But I'll get back to you on that one.
Maybe Benicio del Toro as well
y la banda de Guille... cuando toca?

Hmm... good point... but Johnny could beef up for the role. It's funny, I'm thinking Latino for Catherine... somebody like a younger Monica Bellucci!

Is there anyone good enough for these parts? Although I though Ralph Fiennes was great!

Not benicio anyway... he has to be devastatingly handsome... according to MY rules anyway :D
