Huh, guys?! There's always someone who is pissed. I actually had one person say "eff Ed" "eff PJ" because there were no shows near them.

You knew this was coming, right?
It makes me happy that none of the band members read this crap... at least, I HOPE none of the band members read this crap. That way, they would still believe we are the cool, selfless people they think we are... and not the selfish tantrum-throwing cry babies we truely are.

Well it just seems to be the same general areas that get shows year after year. How many shows have the Boston/NJ/NY/Penn area had since 2000? And how many have the southwest had? We had a few in 2003. Denver with Tom Petty in '06 does not count. Basically no shows in 5 years. So when I see fucking Massachusetts on a short tour line up yet again, yeah, I get a little disheartened. Not all of us can afford vacation days and plane tickets to go see PJ as often as others, so it just sucks to have to sit out yet another round of shows and just watch the setlists and the youtubes online. Not the same.

Just remember people when you are all famous musicians playing to huge sold out crowds that you think its only fair they play everywhere all the time 24/7... Oh wait, whats that? you're not a big supa rock star?? Oh.. you don't know what its like?? oh... you're just sad that they can't be in bumblecrap nowhereland on the day you need them to be???

Looky here people.. atleast they are still TOGETHER, RECORDING, and TOURING a lot of other people's favorite bands aren't as such.. Complaining about it won't get you to the shows..

it amazes me the level of entitlement so many people have.....were some of you just raised poorly? the band is playing shows this year....if you want to see them go....if not, don't....

Entitlement? It's just I've given so much for this band and the fact is they haven't played anywhere near where I've been living for the PAST FIVE YEARS. Like what the hell? Every major touring act comes through the south...why the hell can't Pearl Jam?

I've flown to differet cities just to see them. I've done that. Now one time when it may not be feasible, all I ask is why can't they actually tour America? Why just one particular region? I'm sorry a show in Houston or New Orleans might now sell out in three minutes, but it will sell out. They haven't been here since the FUCKING RIOT ACT TOUR and are about to record another new album. It's so retarded.

If you are going to tour the country, then tour the freaking country. Don't play ten dates in major markets and call that a tour. Radiohead, U2, the Chili Peppers, and all the huge bands know that a number of fans don't primarily live in these select regions. I don't understand how Pearl Jam can just skim over the lower half of the United States like it doesn't exist.

I can understand that some people are angry because they haven't seen a Pearl Jam show in their area IN YEARS!!!! That is mind boggling for possibly the biggest band in America, in my opinion.

    Lol...I know.

It's just I've been here for so long, I feel for the southern people. It's pretty bullshit how they never get a bone when it comes to PJ tours. I'm playing Devil's Advocate just to show I can understand people being pissed about this whole thing.

Shit, they haven't played my state since the fucking BINAURAL tour! 5th biggest (I think) state in the country, by square miles. I understand it's probably not super profitable to drive through for one show, but shit...they'll make up for it during their 8 concerts within a 4 hour radius in the east!

I hate the animosity too. People tend to forget that Pearl Jam are people with lives and families who can't please everyone all the time, and that's OK. As fans we should know better than being so self-centered as to think that the band's got to please everyone!
