How did I know you were gonna spring that on me? We'll I also met Ray D'arcy in a petrol station.. eh yeah that's all I got
Because I never talk to you without mentioning it. And Ray D'Arcy talked to our school when we were in 4th class - some kids said they saw the Dustin puppet in the boot of his car, lying there all dead and stuff... :( But we got off homework that day if we each sang the Bananas in Pyjamas theme song in turn!
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

nice! I'm impressed! OH that Des Bishop guy came to my school, he was surprisingly funny! Still no Mary McAleese though!
David O'Doherty came to our college way back when. Best Irish comedian short of Dylan Moran.
I also met popular WWE wrestler Chris Jericho once upon a time. He was surprisingly... Canadian.
he's Canadian? wow, he was my favourite wrestler and I didn't know that! I was such a lame kid!
actually a person I met pertaining to Pearl Jam was Ed Byrne! He was in the Kings Head in Galway a few months back with a few comedians from The Panel. We had a nice drunken 10 minute conversation about PJ!

Depressingly, I can say without looking it up that I'm pretty certain he's from Winnipeg. I actually hope I'm wrong.
I keep forgetting you're old enough to drink. I'm actually pretty jealous that you met the guys from the Panel - was Neil Delamere there?
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
In college I delivered room service to Too Short. Oh yeah and to Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum.
And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all
Last week I saw Tim O'Connor in the restaurant where I work. I don't know who he is, but everyone there told me 'that's Tim O'Connor.' He's some old actor.
But more importantly was last month when Andy Samberg (from SNL) came in and I made him laugh!
Being a lifelong NYer, I couldn't tell you just how many celebs I've come across, but I can say it started way back when with JFK, SR. Really !!!
But more recently and kinda funny: Last year my 21 year old daughter had a horrible nightmare starring Mr.Kevin Bacon. She woke up screaming and developed a sudden fear of the man. After that day, whenever he popped up on the TV screen, she would cover her eyes, remind everyone of her horrific dream and ask someone to turn the channel. Of course, we just laughed at her.
Jump ahead several months as said daughter and I are strolling around our UWS neighborhood, minding our own business when none other than Mr. Kevin Bacon turns the corner and heads in our direction - at a pretty fast clip, too. I put my hand near my mouth so he couldn't read my lips and said, "Kerry, don't look now, but...". She said, "I know." After he went past, we burst out laughing at how unscary he actually looked. Needless to say, the girl is over it and if Kevin made a movie worth watching (except for Mystic River, of course) we'd would be able to watch it in peace.
"They said timing was everything, made him want to be everywhere,...there's a lot to be said for nowhere."

I've met a few celebrities, but the most random one would probably have been Scott Ian on a shuttle at Dulles Airport. It was pretty late and we were the only two on there. He was pretty much easily recognizable because of the goatee, but he was dressed like an accountant. I just sort of walked in and had to do a double take and he's like "what's going on man?" So we got to chat for a few minutes then we pretty much split ways. Very nice dude though....really down to earth.
I saw Riddick Bowe in 1999 in the concourse of Union Station in Washington DC.

I walked out of my building and saw Seth Green getting into a car. I tried to remember his name as I spoke, but I said, "Hey, it's you!" He smiled with his sharp teeth and said, "Hey man".
if Kevin made a movie worth watching (except for Mystic River, of course) we'd would be able to watch it in peace.
Flatliners is a good movie. And he was in Animal House. Loved your story. Wonder what Kevin would have thought about your daughter having nightmares about him!
I saw Elizabeth Taylor having lunch with her then husband Sen. John Warner in Virginia. It was during one of her fat stages, but she was absolutely beautiful. Her eyes were amazing.
I was yelled at before and thought to be Fergie (british royalty not black eyed peas fergie, lol)

I was walking back to my hotel from the David Letterman show one night in NYC, and I looked to my left and saw Don King standing on the sidewalk smoking a cigar. I dont like boxing or Don King so I didnt say anything, just kept walking but it was cool seeing a celeb.

David O'Doherty was one of those c list celebs I was referring to. Saw him beside lansdowne road station a couple of weeks ago and I did a double take, he caught me and looked like he was preparing himself for me to approach him but I kept walking. He is really really funny though. Was at a David Kitt gig once and he actually opened up for him I thought it was genius having a comedian open. He was brilliant.

Lol, it's weird how random celebs can pop up in dreams. I used to dream quite often about Bruce Willis. He'd pop up as a kinda Oprah character in my dreams... usually lecturing me about something and always talking sense

I LOVE the panel.
I'm pretty sure Mundy chatted me up one night in Whelans. He was hammered and I was behind him at the bar and he turned around and moved out so I could get in and then he kept saying 'I remember you' and I said 'no we've never met' and he said 'no really, I remember you' (I later realised this was what he says to everyone cos I was out having a cigarette with him and people kept coming up to him and everytime he'd say 'I remember you' and they'd get all chuffed ) seemed like a sweet guy though. Was also chatting with Miles O'Reilly from Juno Falls that night... he's a PJ fan too and very nice.
