    That's awesome!

I thought NBC was just going to can the series and release the last episodes on DVD only.

Hasn't Zach Braff already said he won't be doing an eighth season? If so, the show should not continue on imo.

How could the show continue without him?

That's what I'm sayin'. JD is the integral character in the series and without him, I think the show fails and declines horribly.

I think John C. said that they would be working on an 8th season.

    AWESOME! .....Im very happy.......

I remember I used to watch it every thursday. Then I missed 2 weeks, came back, and it was gone.... never knew what happened to it. Then one day, I figured "Oh yea maybe they had that writers strike thing....". But I didnt think there would be another season after this one. They already said that this was the final season. Right?? ?

  • SCRUBS IS SIMPLY AMAZING!! VERY FUNNY! Especially the janitor!! Rock on, Scrubs Fans:) Good show last night. I'm so happy it's back!!

That was brilliant. Good episode last night. The only character who I don't really like anymore is Elliot. She was hysterical in the first 5 1/2 seasons. But the end of last season, and this season she's just annoying. I miss the absolutely crazy and ridiculous Elliot.

I get what you're saying about Elliot, yosi. It's like they changed her character, but didn't mean to (or realize it), inadvertently making it a little worse.

I have a feeling that they had filmed it awhile ago and showed it out of sequence because originally Scrubs was supposed to go on another week.

    http://www.tv.com/scrubs/my-commitment-canceled/episode/1179431/summary.html

NBC decided to pull the plug a week early on the season and I guess Bill Lawrence and the cast felt like this was a better episode to end the season with than the episode from last week.

I'm pretty sure it's moving to ABC. ABC just can't announce the deal until NBC ran its last episode.

I like ABC. But if the ratings are the same as on NBC they will cancel it before the 2nd new episode of the season.

Well the thing is, the strike may actually help Scrubs. Because of the strike, not many new pilots were made and since ABC already makes Scrubs and it has an established audience, it was a decision by the Network to pick up the show instead of making a new sitcom to fail disastrously i.e. Cavemen.

Yea but they can easily replace with reality shows. And there might be an actor's strike.

After what happened with the writers and how quickly the directors came to negotiations, I doubt there is an actors strike. I mean even the most vapid actor/actress will realize no one will have sympathy if Tom Cruise is on strike.

Plus Scrubs gets better ratings than Life According to Jim and for some reason aBC has kept that on the air for 7 years.

So is Zach Braff done....it had been announced before the start of the season that this would be his last year on the show....leaving speculation that this was the end.

That final episode was weak, worst one ever possibly.

i didn't like the episode, either...but i never liked princess bride.

zach braff just wrote this blog:

    Dear friends,

Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season. We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned.

Also, several of you were very confused by the fact that Dr. Kelso and Laverne were still working at the hospital in the Fairy Tale episode. Because of the writer's strike, the last remaining episodes for NBC were aired out of order. This is why Dr. Kelso was still chief of medicine. That was not Laverne however, for those of you who have been following closely; it was a new nurse "Shirley" who no one thinks looks anything like Laverne except for JD.

Hope this clears some things up.

    peace and love,
    zb
