First of all, find out what hydrocodone to acetaminophen ratio your pills have.

You can do that by typing in the pill numbering/lettering into google. There are websites that have a database of every opiate pill ever made.

Vicodin comes in ratios of 5/500, 7.5/750 and, if you're lucky, 10/325.
The 10/325 are actually known as Norcos, but have the same ingredients as vicodin.

The first half of the ratio represents hydrocodone (the opiate) in milligrams. The second half is acetaminophen (tylenol).

The acetaminophen was recently discovered to be highly toxic to the liver when taken in excess quantities. It is recommended that you do not have more than 4 grams (4000 milligrams) of acetaminophen in a 24 hour period.

Also, do not snort vicodin. It has way too much tylenol in it. People snort Lortab and Oxycontin because those don't have any tylenol.

If you ever get your hands on some oxycontin, PM me and I'll share a few tricks of the trade with you.

Also, google "cold water extraction" or CWE. This is a method by which you can separate the tylenol from the hydrocodone, saving your liver and getting you higher.

However, if you have no tolerance, then you shouldn't need more than one or two vicodins to get loaded.

    good knowledge! thanks so much!

i have shit to do tonight, so i'll be taking one and see where it takes me!

I'm not judging and I certainly don't want to tell people what they should or should not do...

but my opinion is that it sounds like you have a problem. Vicodin and oxycontin are nearly as bad as heroin.

    Just my two cents...
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.
  • so my back's been really bothering me lately, so i was able to get a few vicodin from my friend.

i have never taken it before, so i don't really know what to expect. is it going to keep me up? make me crash? ok to mix with alcohol?

    little help!

It's an opiate. You're going to buzz out a bit and feel sedated. Morphine is a 10.

If you have an addictive personality, stay away from it. It is a highly addictive narcotic and I have heard stories of people taking up 100/day if they get hooked.

I was given Vicodin after I gave birth to my first son, I took one and hated how it made me feel...loopy and drunk feeling. For extreme pain, I found that Darvoset worked better for me (with second son), it took away the pain but didn't leave me loopy.

However, I must note, I have a high pain tolerance and I hate to take pills. I also have experience with an addict who popped Vicodin and other prescription pills like candy.... so I am a bit biased.

Yeah, for some reason, morphine is always listed as being the most powerful, but anyone such as myself who regularly abuses opiates will tell you that morphine is actually quite weak when compared to Oxycontin and even Vicodin, depending on how much vicodin you're using.

When injected, morphine is a superb pharmaceutical opiate that by far out ranks all in its category.

But in pill form, morphine is weak and requires much more to attain a "high" than does oxycontin.

That's why the street value of oxycontin is 3-4 times that of morphine.

    Just an FYI.
