I would take Peyton over Montana.....hell, I would take Aikman over Montana and Young. Montana and Young were products of a system. If they are such great QB's, explain Kansas City and Tampa Bay.

First of all Young was a young QB in TB and had to learn how to play. No QB has been ever sucessfull in TB. Even when they won the Super Bowl it was with Brad Johnson and they got rid of him soon after.

Montana was able to go to the playoffs twice in KC. They even reached the AFC championship game in the twilight of his career. This was after the Niners basically thought he was thru and released him. Yet he still had some great moments. Defeating Elway on Monday Night Footballs Greatest Game ever comes to mind. BTW Joe always made Elway and Marino his bitch when they played so he should win the debate over these guys by default.

I don't agree with that at all. Brady is most likely going to retire with the most post season wins and highest post season winning percentage in history.

    He's 14-3 right now.

    Montana was 16-7
    Favre 12-10
    Peyton 7-7
    Elway 14-8
    Marino 8-10
    Bradshaw 14-5
    Aikman 11-5

I'm not saying Brady is the greatest, but to leave him out of the competition when he didn't lose the game - completing 60% of your passes with no picks is not really a bad game - is a little ridiculous.

I'm not saying Brady isn't a top 5 QB but Joe was not only statistically great he always got it done in the biggest game. Joe had 3 Super Bowl MVP's and he almost won it in 88 but Jerry Rice was amazing in that game.

When it comes down to it Brady and Montana are probably the best QB's I'VE seen play. (I was born 1980) So if I am debating those two I put Joe in front of Brady for never failing when it mattered the most. I was starting to believe Brady was g.o.a.t until Sunday. In fact as soon as the Giants won I called my fellow Niner fans and said I will never consider Brady better then Joe now!!!
