    Everything Matt Damon said in that clip is bang on. If you don't like Matt Damon, just imagine his lines being said by any regular person. They are valid, they are clear, and they ask the right questions.

    He is spot-on in that clip regardless of whether he is an actor or not, and regardless of whether he is an a$$hole or not.

    She outperformed expectations by a long shot. That said, Biden did very well and probably won the debate on substance. Overall, I think the Republicans won last night though because she did better than what the talking heads said she would.

    I agree that we shouldn't get our political insight from an actor (or a lead singer in a band we like), but aside from being an actor, Damon is also intelligent (unlike some other actors who shall remain Tom Cruise) a Harvard near-graduate, and has always been politically involved and aware.
    He does bring up valid points about Palin, and those are some of the questions that folks should be asking themselves about her and the possibility of her ascension to the Oval Office.

    Not necessarily in this case as people are either for or against her..there doesn't seem to be any grey area. But in other areas of politics.
