    Sorry about your hand. Do you have any aloe vera? I learned touch typing early on in school. I also have no idea how two finger typists do it. You could just use your good hand and leave spaces for the letters you would have typed with your burned hand:

    S rt f e t s (Sort of like this.)

    and let us fill in the blanks. It could be a fun game, "What's Jeanie trying to say?" :D

    Yeah, I learned about 20 years ago, and it's not so easy to go backwards! :o

    Sounds like a fun game!! :D Only don't we already play that now most of the time even when I speak plain english with no missing letters? :p:D

    I can't even use drinking as an excuse because that was last night! You only need 1/4 cup of chardy for risotto, no point letting it go off! Best to drink the bottle! ;)

    Typing with just a few fingers or only one hand isn't so hard.

    And damn, that's gotta hurt!

    My right arm is sort of ruined (something wrong with my elbow and collar bone-shoulder area) and I'm trying to do as much as I can with my left hand, which is my non-dominant hand. Brushing my teeth with my left is the hardest.

    I rule at ping pong, though. I think I'm better with my left than with my right. I'm going to keep practising my left hand skills even when or if my right arm is better.

    typing was the one class i always cut in HS. i always thought, wtf, i will never need to type...:rolleyes: i had no intention of ever geting a 'typing job'...and even now, while i do a wee bit, definitely no typist.

    and, like most things....practice! the message pit os where i perfected my two finger typing style and speed. :D i'm slow, but really pretty damn fast for only using my index fingers, and now it is so ingrined, i don't think i could ever break the habit. eh well.

    Sorry about your hand Jeanie. :(. I couldn't imagine typing with 2 fingers...that would suck.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
