Two finger typists how do you do it????

Burned my right hand tonight cooking dinner and I gotta ask, now I'm sitting here picking out the letters with my left hand, ever so slowly, how the hell do guys do it?????

I'm deadly serious too, posting is hell with only one hand!!!

Come share your typing techniques with me please, I might need to learn a new way for a few days.

meh! I'll be ok aside from an overdose of frustration and having to sit here with the fingers of my right hand in a cup of water. :rolleyes:

I used to be a very efficient two finger typist but this one handed bizo is driving me nuts!!! I miss touch typing and it's only been a couple of hours!!!

Here's a tip! Don't stick your hand in a boiling pot of rice!!! :eek: :rolleyes:

Thanks Brisk. I've been burned on numerous occasions. Actually I'm the queen of random odd burns!!! This is just another stupid one I guess.

It hurts like hell but I'll have a couple of painkillers before bed and wrap it up with some gel on and hopefully it'll be better in the morning.

I've got a T shaped scar on my forearm... one part was accidental with the straightners.. the other part was a couple of weeks later from the edge of the oven :eek: . I look like an emo kid, lol, I've been asked if I did it myself

Ah!! So we have odd and embarrassing burns scars in common too then Hels?

I've got a beauty of a burn scar on my inner arm, just above the crook of the elbow where this eejiit guy at school years ago accidently shoved a woodburner into my arm during art class. He was trying to pinch my arse and when I took him to task over it he swung around in his embarrassment and lodged the damn thing in my arm. We were both so busy exchanging embarrassing conversation that neither of us noticed it burning me till we smelt the flesh burning!! :eek: I can't count how many times some one has asked me if I was a junky in the past because that's what it looks like now. :rolleyes:

And don't get me started about the iron or the heater.

Yeah, the cold water is really helping, very soothing, not sure how I'll go trying to sleep with my fingers in a cup of water though!!!

:eek: that sounds terribly painful... and that was from school? Musta been bad! Hahaha... do NOT sleep with your fingers in a cup of water... do ya not know what's supposed to happen then? THIS is when the frozen food or the ice pack comes into play

For the typing thing, I don't type properly but I don't 'hunt and peck' either so I'm afraid I won't be much help. I guess, just keep at it and you'll pick up some speed after a while.

Yeah my skin was burned black!! It was gross!!! :eek: And it hurt like hell!!

There's no way I could sleep with my hand in water so I'll have to try the ice pack, although that'll probably have me busting for the toot half the night as well!!
