Yep, it's been over six years and I still think about it.

I miss...

ice ludges
Beast
Natty Ice
Smokin mad bubblers with friends
Kegs in the basement

and of course,

college girls.

UGH. :(

Amen to that...My buddies and I say that shit all the time (it's been 9+ years for me)...old college stories are the best.

We still play the same sides when we have beer pong tournaments...I still have my beer pong table from college...fashioned in the likeness of the 'Nova parquet at the Pavillion

I'm probably around the same age as you and I miss it for sure. Used to bitch about early classes, still better than working early. Meeting up with people prior to going out was always fun, after parties etc, 6ft bongs, the ladies

If I could do it over again I would take 3 credits a semester, and sleep on someones couch

I never had much of a college life with either basketball going on, or work since I put myself through college. Well not through it...I still have to get back. :p

I'm finding it no problem(until recently with my job/family situations) that I had no problem having any kind of social life like that anyway. Although when I'm at my home office, I only work 4 days a week. So I'm out for college night on Thursdays anyway and all the girls are still there. :p

    I really miss college too!

Granted, I had next to NO money when I was in school...but that didn't matter, I still had the best time of my life!

    Soooooooo much fun!

-Good friends who always seemed to have time to go drinking
-TAILGATING!! Man, getting up and drinking at 6AM on gameday while tailgating among tens of thousands of fans. Unreal!
-College bars and cheap drinks. I still haven't seen $1 pitchers anywhere!
    -College girls!!!!!! Nuff said!
    -Afterhour parties
    -House parties
-Virtually no responsibility other than class
-School. Yeah, I really miss the school part of it too despite all of the work and spending day and night at times studying.
-Drinking games (beer pong, asshole and other card games, dice, quarters, many others)
-College girls! Oh wait, I already posted that ;)
-Partying until the sun comes up
    -Drunken walks home

...I can go on and on!

I've been out now for 3 years and I really, really miss it.

My close college friends and I try to make it back once a year for a weekend/football game/tailgate.
I'm excited about this fall! :)

I've been out for 3 months and its starting to really depress me. All my younger friends are heading back this weekend and I'm just realizing that I won't be there with them. What makes it worse is that with law school starting I won't even have time to visit. :(

My life has only been downhill since graduating a year ago. College was hard and stressful but it was great to be learning new things.

  • I totally miss university. I miss the classes. I miss the complete lack of responsibilty. But most of all, I miss being so close to all my friends, spatially. We were all so close that we could walk to each other's houses within minutes. Now, I have to drive about an hour to see any of them. Or I can't see them at all, 'cause they're really really really far away! :(

I'm in the minority since life's been a lot better before and after college. I was dirt poor, worked full-time and had nothing to show for it for 4+ years. I didn't have time for much partying.

I think about college everyday. I graduated 6 years ago and I don't think I will ever have fun like that again. Everyday was a party.

10 years out, I don't miss it at all. It was an exciting time, but also very confusing. I feel like I have a much greater handle on life now. I miss some of my college friends though... they're scattered all over this country.

i do miss college from time to time. i felt as though i knew everyone...either through classes or going out drinking. i love the fact that i would schedule classes around $1 drink night downtown on wednesdays...and thursdays were always college night somewhere.

good times with a great group of friends to show for it :D i'm pretty excited for football season...gotta love tailgating. i better work on my flip cup skills ;)

Seconded. I love learning new things. I feel like my brain is going stale outside of school.

I finished 5 years ago; I miss living in the dorm (really, I do.... Well, I miss the close proximity of friends who were willing to help me waste time 24/7), but apart from that, I prefer my life now. When I leave work at the end of the day, I pretty much leave it at the 'office' and can actually relax in the evening or on the weekend without feeling like I should really be studying.... I also have money now to do the things I enjoy! (Like travel across the country to see a great band play ;) )

Yeah, I *really* wish I paid more attention in class and tried to actually learn more rather than just trying to get through and pass.....

You don't have to stop learning new things just because you're not in school. If it's something you love to do - keep doing it.

Does anyone else still have their notes from class? I have them in a large binder. :)

I did for ages, but my mother was tired of storing them at my parents house and I don't have room at my new place, so I finally had to throw them all out... :(

almost 8 years out and i miss it...not like i did when i was only a few years out...but man sometimes i just get really nostalgic looking at pictures or something. just the whole thing about being away from home for the first time and having zero responsibilites (other than going to class half the time) was fucking great...nothing like walking down College Hill at Bloomsburg after class and seeing about 10 people hanging out on my porch, keg in tow, sublime or marley or pearl jam blasting from the stereo...ahh good times indeed.

anyone go to Bloomsburg here by any chance? i still get up there once a year or so for a little reunion with friends.

The only thing I miss from college was all the partying I used to do. I don't miss it all the time, but every once in a while I get the nostalgia of it all. Overall though, I much enjoy life after college as I prefer having money to being broke and being able to buy certain luxuries that I couldn't afford in school. Oh yeah, not having to eat ramen is kinda nice too...

    I dunno man.

I make good money now, and was broke as shit in college.

The partying and the hot ass chicks just might be better than my fancy salary.
