I really liked I Robot. It wasn't anywhere near as smart as it thought it was, but I enjoyed it as a dumb action movie. And Will Smith makes everything more tolerable.
I suppose he's charismatic and'd probably be fun to go to a barbeque with and all that, but there's something evil about him and his films. Seriously, Will Smith embodies something that is dangerous to society and to the individual watching his film. I can't sum up exactly what that is, but his squeaky clean image seems so contrived and as a mask for obediance(to Satan ).
At times, I-Robot felt like one huge advertisment over a plot that's been ingrained into me throughout hours of watching trite movies, many of which were probably worse.
The Happening. Not only was the story ridiculous (trees apparently listen to humans talking) but the acting was incredibly shite.
Got to the point where it was funny it was so bad. Actually, it enters a new category for me...comedy. One of the most comic films i've seen this year!
Just watched that tonight and had to find this thread for that reason alone... seriously so bad it was funny (but not funny enough to EVER recommend to anyone... it kinda made me angry) from the VERY beginning! We'd just watched gone baby gone before that though... so anything was gonna be bad after that film (brilliant by the way) but yeh, an unbelievable waste of time and money

My fiance and I watched Perfume: The Story of a Murderer last night. Holy freaking God was it stupid. It started out okay, but the last forty-five to sixty minutes were excruciating and ridiculous. We were both like, "THIS is seriously the biggest part of the plot?!" It was terribly anticlimactic and made me feel really weird and uncomfortable, ha.
... And I never thought I would say this, but Dustin Hoffman was AWFUL in it.

Alien vs Predator:The Requiem was just as bad, as was Alien vs Hunter. But Freddie vs Jason salvages some respect for these crossover films, though the great Vorhees is a lil undermined by such a lame adversary.
Pearl Harbor was pure and utter garbage. Has to be the worst movie I have ever seen. Makes me mad just thinking about the 3 hours of my life I wasted watching that crap. Awful.

I was trying very hard to watch Meet The Spartans (It's not my fault, my friend wanted to see it badly...so what are friends for ey?) And DEAR GOD! What piece of crap! Just PURE crap! I was cringing the whole fucking time and didn't laugh once! BELIEVE you me, I can take a joke and I love spoofs, but they don't make them like they used to! SOOOO glad I found this thread! I need to bitch about it's fucking crapiness!!! UGH what were they thinking? And what's even more crazy is that I didn't even finish it! I watched it with my friend for like 20 mins and I couldn't continue anymore....SHIT it doesn't suck, IT FUCKING SUCKS!
