Then tell your bf to stop it then. :D

Hey I made freinds with some Cub fans tonight. We were tailgating and had a great time. Look forward to another fun time tomorrow nite. Your not all jerks. hehe

Write a letter to ESPN then. Who gives a shit who was picked. I didn't expect to see GB in the top part of the list. The whole thing was silly and like I said who cares. It's only ESPN.
oh i dont really care that much either... just making conversation... and thought it was an odd choice... like i said in my first post i didnt even vote or follow it that closely along the way...

and yah it was a good game tonight... what was the percentage like cubs fans - brewers? from watching it on TV it seemed like there was alot more cubby fans... have fun at tomorrows

    NY: Yanks 26 titles, Knicks 3 titles(i think it's 3), Giants/Jets 4 SB, Rangers ???? (not a hockey fan)

LA: Lakers 14 titles, UCLA basketball a lot of titles with Alchindor and Walton era, Dodgers a couple titles?

    ?????

ESPN makes me laugh so much with this stuff. I didn't vote either.

I think it was half and half with Cub and Brewer fans. I was next to a couple of Cub fans on third base side and we all had a great time. They told us Milwaukee has Chicago beat on tailgating. lol

Tomorrow should be fun too. :)

Sorry about the comment b4. All in good fun. :D

    Haha...thanks.

I believe the Bears had more titles before the Super Bowl era (NFL/AFL merger)started. So yeah, Chi-town should be in the mix as well.

By the way, who are the Fire? I mean what sport are they in?

Major League Soccer...haha the name is a joke itself.

New England Revolution played in 4 championship games I believe but lost all. :(

Chicago people are so fucked in the head. LOL

I lived in Appleton for 4 years. When I moved back here, it was so nice get away from the Packers starter jacket wearing cheesers, ya knoow?

Although, with all the shit that's been happening already, and with the way the baseball season is going, Chicago may be in shambles come October.

Back to the thread topic, not that I care, but was Titletown about crowning the city with the best championships/success or about the town with the most passionate fans and all that jazz? Either way, they got it wrong.

this is a small town award, what the hell would it matter to a town like Boston?

They do have savant like high school football in Valdosta. And reasonably interesting tiny college football too at least before thier coach left for Georgia Southern. Jesse Tuggle played at VSU I believe.

I'm sure the 15000 or so people in that area and all over small tiny towns in the US are excited. They'll probably erect some giant sign or something showing thier pride. Lowndes County after all won another state title last year.

It's the perfect tiny burg to win a meaningless award in dead sports time.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
