    Steve Young!

always liked how he accepted his role as a back up and able to shine when it was his time. Many athletes would have bitch and complained.

But he did get a pair of rings as a back up so maybe that's why he kept his mouth shut. Glad to see his patience paid off in 1995's SuperBowl.

Then there was Dikembe Mutombo, mainly for being such a great human being! :)

    Boris Becker and John McEnroe
    Joe Montana and Jerry Rice
    Air Jordan
    Rudi Völler
  • Montana and Rice then also grew to love Steve Young especially because he wasn't afraid to run the ball and take a hit in the process.

Rudi Völler, the last greatest mustache soccer player. I saw him here in Mexico in 86, he was a hell of a player, but I always liked Jurgen a lot more.
