  • So sorry for your loss and for all of those who posted about losing someone in this thread.

Not that drunk driving had anything to do with this particular instance, but anyone who reads the story I'm posting and even CONSIDERS getting behind the wheel after drinking . . .

caution; this is a VERY, VERY DISTURBING story. I almost couldn't get through it.

hopefully posting it here will make someone think twice

another Long island story. Horrible, absolutely horrible. And the drunk who did it is a total douchebag. He tried "swapping spit" with another inmate in order to have his blood test thrown out, since the DNA wouldn't be a match

I hope that guy is getting some serious prison justice for what he did to a 7 year old girl, as well as the rest of the victims, including the limo driver, who also died

That's how old my sister's friend (like a sister to me) was when she died last night after crashing into a tree. We had a little ceremony thing at the high school earlier everyone is devastated. This is fucked...the class of 2008 at their school has lost three kids this year.

I think I'm going to talk to school principle about playing "Its Ok" at their senior banquet tomorrow night
I am so sorry to hear about this.
    :(
I saw a bad accident in my town yesterday...a rolled over SUV and another SUV that had senior high school writing in the window. :(
So sad...especially this time of year.
Peace to you and your friend's family.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

had 3 classmates, all in the same car, pull out in front of a semi.
1 classmate died trying to cross in front of a train.
    cancer took one.
    suicide took another.

Shit, it's been a while since I last shed a tear, but that is a horrific story.

And to the OP, you have my sincere condolences. A girl in my class died in a jet-ski accident when we were 17 and a childhood friend of mine took his own life when he was just 16, sometimes life just isn't fucking fair.

This stuff scares me so much having 2 teenaged sons driving.

Hugs to you and your friend's family.
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream
