DEAR sweet bejeebus i loather that one!

    hahahaha.

only other i can think of off the top of my head is 'mayhaps'...it's just annoying to read imo.

Yeah, when I see a thread where they're all prosteletizing about the cookie cutter theory or the straw man argument I get a visual of a scene from Shrek in my head! :D

Can't even find prosteletizing in the dictionary. It means preach doesn't it? Why not just use preach? Damn big words for no readily apparent reason just confuse me and make me think someone is just trying to be clever. :p

On a side note Fins, there was a book I read called Just another little murder by Phil Cleary a local identity who is a former footballer and local Federal MP. It's about his sister who was murdered in 1987 by her ex boyfriend, stabbed outside the kindergarten where she worked. A really sad story and Phil talks all about the murder and the ensuing trial and his efforts to change the law. His sister's murdererer was found not guilt on the grounds of provocation. Anyway it's a well written book and his story, about what happened to his sister, is incredibly sad and I wouldn't wish it on anyone but I reckon about 5 times AT LEAST in that book he uses the word lumpenproletariate and not long after on the tv I heard him use it in an interview as well!!! Just completely bamboozles me that he's so stuck on the word and around the time after I'd read the book that word started showing up all over the place and it's not like it's an easy one that rolls off the tongue OR enters the brain easily! :D
    NOPE!!!

    *~You're IT Bert!~*

    Hold on to the thread

Well THIS American would say COULDN'T CARE LESS--Notice the apostrophe???

    :p

try looking it up spelled like proselytize and you should find suitable definitions...that one is an easy word to misspell.....
