Funny, for three years in a row I always found this lone gigantic bee that would decide to up and die die on the same area on my driveway every spring. Bizarre.
Now that I have a virtual mini forest of raspberries bushes 4 years in the making, the bees are now coming and going in droves, pollinating every last flower pod judiciously. Win win..I am grazing.
Mom actually told me she was ripping them up this year!
Thankfully the guy she hired to do it didn't. phew....
What was she thinking?Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away0 -
I'm growing strawberries. So many came in I can't eat them all. Im giving them away. These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0

Collin wrote:My grandfather used to have them and I saw a plant in a store and I bought it. They do expand rapidly, they shoot up everywhere. They've started ripening here and everyday I get a little more, it's awesome.
I originally planted them on our old patch of land where our chickens, geese and goats used to roam... (they were already gone, though) but we didn't use the land... now it's part of our backyard with this huge raspberry bush right in the middle! I'm thinking about putting the shoots next to the fence.
Also, close to my home there are huge blackberry and dewberry bushes.
Funny, my grandfather had the same at his cottage near the beach when I was growing up. I'll always remember picking them each morning to put on my cereal and eat breakfast outside on the back deck. Every time I eat one of my own, I get flashbacks.

lol... You should drop off your laundry at the door at the same time.
They replant amazingly well once uprooted, so if that day ever comes, make sure to get a few and continue the lineage.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

I get the flashback too! Just thought about it right after I posted when I threw one of those delicious red berries into my mouth. Takes me right back to my childhood at my grandfather's.THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!
