What bar soap do you use?

I've been a dedicated Irish Spring customer for like the last 12-15 years.

It's the only soap that doesn't leave a thin residue layer behind from my experience. I guess those brands refer to that as "moisturization."

Irish Spring washes completely off and leaves me with that "clean" feeling more than other soaps.

    exactly!!!

i'm a bloke so i use whatever my wife buys.. and as she's scottish it'll be the soap that was currently on offer... even if it was soap made from the earwax of badgers and the fermented cry of an orphan, as long as it was 69p reduced from 99p she'd buy it.

I couldn't agree more!! I am not a fan of Oil of Olay...ick...i feel like i never actually get clean when I use that. I'm an Irish Spring, kinda girl...even though I kinda think it's a "boy" soap, isn't it??

  • Oh my GOD I hate the smell of Axe.

    gives me a headache.

I like Irish Spring on a man.

I use ivory (it floats!!) but only on my face...my body I use body wash stuff from Bath and Body works ...or I make my own soap if I am feeling witchy.

I'm also not a fan of the moisturizer/lotions found in some soaps (Dove, for example). I'm an Ivory user and absolutely leaves you feeling fresh, clean, dry and it doesn't have much of a scent, which I also like.

presently i am using Lever 2000.
i normally use Ivory as it leaves a no visible film on my tattooed meat.
always after showering i thoroughly enjoy giving myself a baby oiled skin job.
it enhances the art of the tattoos and make me feel all brand new and fresh like.
so yes, soap and its filmly remains piss me off ;)

I use Ivory...pretty much exclusively... however a bunch of years ago i started breaking out along the sides of my face... turns out it was from Aussie Mega sprunch spray. :D

Anyway... A dermatologist told me to use Lever 2000. It helped I guess. But so did discontinuing the Sprunch Spray. :)
