    Every night.

and when I workout/run in the morning 3-4x week.

People that don't shower before bed are disgusting slobs. :D

I like to know that my bed is a clean haven of comfy-ness.

I love me a steaming hot shower :) You're not getting me out of there in less than 30 minutes. I shower at least once a day - twice when I work out. Sometimes three times just for fun ;)

Well it was more of a question. I lived in Europe for two years, and I never flat out and asked Europeans, but I got the feel that showering daily wasn't a requirment like in America. I'm not saying that they are unsanitary, it just seems like people here in America over do showers. When every one else in the world doesn't have an "endless" water supply to waste on that sort of thing. Americans tend to think clean water is abundant, and energy used to heat the water is wasted.

If you live somewhere cold, I can sort of understand not showering as much as others. I live somewhere very hot and I couldn't live without two showers a day. There have been occasions on weekends where I've only had one shower on a day...but not that often.

I shower once a day, usually at about 10pm.

I'm always the last one to have one at the end of the day, due to the fact that i'm getting everyone ELSE to shower

(Zig, it's not that unusual to shower twice a day, my hubby does and so do all his family. I guess it just depends on your 'habits') :)

Every other day. I used to take numerous cold showers when I lived in a warmer climate just to cool off! Thankfully, that is no longer a problem. So, every other day it is unless I'm dirty from running or working in the yard or other stuff. :)

Know what I find weird? People that don't wash their hair every time they shower. I find that weird.

Every day I get asked what my secret is for having such healthy hair. My secret: Wash it only once or twice a week. :)

(I also don't blowdry it so it can take up to 3 days to dry. If I washed it every time I showered it would be perpetually wet.)

You have thick hair and a lot of it! I have such fine hair and not much of it that it dries before my haircut is finished. But, I agree, your hair shouldn't be washed every day and light on the blow drying. :)

You apparently are not afflicted with dandruff. If I don't use dandruff shampoo at least every other day, my scalp starts to itch and snow like crazy.

Actually, I have been afflicted with dandruff, especially since I moved to the desert. I used the dandruff shampoo but didn't wash my hair any more frequently than normal and it went away.

Maybe mine wasn't as bad as yours. Or maybe it was just less noticable because I have blonde hair. Or, I wonder if washing it too much can actually exacerbate the dandruff, since that's so drying. Interesting... :)
