how often do you bathe/shower?

I used to shower twice a day, but eventually I stopped due to water bill concerns when I was in college.

Nowadays the I can afford the increased water bill, but I haven't gotten back into that routine of a second shower.

    What about brushing your teeth????

    I always do that day and night but spoke with someone the other day who said 'nah why? I only brush at night and have since I was 5' I thought that strange
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    Have a shower morning and night....I feel so dirty going to bed without showering first.

    That's GROSS!! If you were going to miss a brush, wouldn't you miss the night time one so you have nice fresh teeth for work in the morning?

    i have one every morning, and depending on what ive done thru the afternoon ill have one at night too ... having two kids that stand under the shower till the hot water runs out unless you bash on the door also effects the nightly one tho ;)

    I was told by the doctor that I am not to bathe to often as I have really bad dry skin and it really dries it up. I ignore him and go for once a day, he said once or twice a week :eek:

    1 - 3 times a day.
    i shower even when i don't need one just cause it feel refreshing.
    i don't have to shampoo and soap every time either.
    nuttin beats being brand spankin new feelin.
    sometimes i just sit in a tub of hot water just to relax.

    (brush teeth probably 5 times a day, give or take)

    Shower every morning and bathe most evenings. I just love that sleepy feeling you get relaxing in a hot bath at the end of the day.

    I have to shower atleast once a day if I don't I feel gross. But I only use shampoo and soap every other day.
    When it comes to brushing my teeth its not uncommon for me to forget to brush them for a day or two. I have also had a dentist tell me I have some of the best teeth he's seen and he said I would really have to try to get any cavities.

    haha, that'a what i was thinking.

    my wife showers in the morning because of her 'night sweats'.

    i shower once, after coming home from work.

    Know what I find weird? People that don't wash their hair every time they shower. I find that weird.

    I shower at least once a day. I love having a bath especially if I have just put clean sheets on my bed. I once had a thread about the virtues of clean sheets and a bath :)

    I never wash my hair. Of course, I keep it shaved to about 1/8 of an inch so I don't think it matters.

    Yeah, well that's a different story. I'm talking about people with, ya know, a full head of hair. People have told me something like they only wash their hair every few days. I don't know, I wouldn't feel clean without washing my hair along with a few other "areas."

    this is a joke right? the embarrassed face means maybe not... what's scary about water?

    i usually shower once a day. sometimes if i'm running around a bunch i'll forget and miss a day. sometimes if i work out, i'll shower twice. i feel guilty taking two showers though. feels kinda self indulgent when people are dying of thirst and i keep hearing about depleting fresh water reserves all the time. i also rarely have the time for a second shower.

    I'm one of those people. My hair is really dry and pretty long and if I washed it every day it would be worse and unmanagable. I know a lot of people who like me wash it every few days. It's also what every hairdresser I've been to has recommended for hair like mine.
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
