    I horrified some poor guy at a bar tonight. he was a bit inebriated, trying to flirt. He asked for my number which I gave him one (not my real one!). As he was entering it (I was watching struggle with the buttons), I noted "hey! who's Nadeen? you have a Nadeen in there but you don't have any womens names starting with 'k'? what the hell!". In asking where I live, I noted I lived north of the city...that I have a swamp and not to give me too much shit...as he'd end up in a hefty bag in the swamp. He took off after that. poor thing....but it made my night.
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    - no work. job site wasn't ready today for installation! great, can rest my tired back & knees. whoa!
    - cleaned one music room, which i've been meaning to do for sometime now. there's a few, but i'll take care of those next weekend or something.
    - asked a friend in montreal is she wanted to attend an nhl hockey game with me. she said yes! :)
    - i'm loving the jimi hendrix guitar hero world tour pack. this weekend, the smashing pumpkins has their pack for download. will check that out!

    day's half over. let's see what the night brings! :)

    driving alone in the rain, with good music playing...

    walking in the rain in flip flops

    stepping in puddles and feeling the water between my toes

    being able to sleep with the windows open and hear the sound of the rain and feel the cool breeze
