    After an exhausting and scary night in the ER with my husband, we had to cancel our long planned trip to Memphis to see the Dave Matthews Band tonight.

    He had his tonsils out 2 weeks ago and was all better (we thought) and the back of his throat just started bleeding last night and wouldn't stop... Boy was there a LOT of blood. So we went to the ER at 1am and by 4am he was in emergency surgery to cauterize the blood vessel that burst. We had planned on leaving for Memphis at 8am, getting some BBQ and seeing Dave tonight - i bought my tickets and booked the hotel months ago. So I am really bummed, but happy that he is ok. He is sleeping with some good pain meds atm so he is good.

    Anyway, the part that made my day was that I was able to sell my tickets for close to face value to a guy on the DMB forums who lived close to me, so the tickets didn't go to waste and I got most of money back :)

    The alibi of Barry George who was aquitted of killing Crimewatch presenter Jill Dando last week.
