    Waking up to my love and him making porridge and a cup of tea for me this morning in bed :)

    I just got my grades... 98.5% and 99.4% yay! First time I've ever had a 4.0 GPA. Good way to start Grad school!!

    Thank you so much :) Glad that us being happy makes some other people happy too :) I always remember what you said when I was complaining about the immigration process being so difficult and you said "it has to be difficult...that way you know you really want it" and you were right! I love the excitement of the visits...but as you know I am very scheduled and I love the ho hum of an every day routine - so I cannot wait for the exciting visits to give way to the routine of every day life. Soon!

    The story of Karen Matthews trying to fake the kidnap of her daughter was very sad obviously, but some of the stories about the people she got to help her with the plot are quite funny, particularly about this halfwit Donovan. Saw this in the paper today.




    A former employer of Donovan's said he had a soft spot for him despite agreeing he was a "dim-wit", "not all there" and had "no common sense".

    Colin Backhouse said Donovan worked for his West Yorkshire engineering firm as a general labourer and delivery driver between 1989 and 1991.

    He said he once sent him out to put £20 of diesel in his pick-up just for something to do because he was "getting on my nerves".

    Mr Backhouse said he was bemused when Donovan kept driving past the firm's premises again and again.

    When Donovan eventually returned he told his boss he could only fit £18.48 worth of fuel into the vehicle so he kept driving around until he could squeeze another £1.52 worth into the tank. "

    There is something tragically funny about certain aspects (although obviously it is terrible). It's like the family and neighbours have conspired to stay as "white trash" as possible. I saw a clip yesterday from what I presume was during the search for the girl and one of the neighbours had heard some news and proclaimed excitedly "I heard it in ASDA, it MUST be right".

    Like I say, tragic.
