    I made incredible hummus, and my nieces actually tried it! It was too spicy for them, but I felt the love anyway :)

    I adapted this from Colleen Patrick-Gudreau's CompassionateCooks.com bean podcast. However, where she uses water to thin the paste, I would never do that. Eh, add a little something with flavor.

    Put all in food processor:
    I can garbanzo beans drained and rinsed thoroughly
    juice of 1 lemon (not 2. I tried 2, and not good)
    1 TBL tahini
    2 bigish cloves garlic (not 4, I tried 4, and not good)
    Eh, a little salt
    Eh, a little black pepper
    Hmmm, a little chili powder

    If it needs to thin use extra-virgin olive oil. Recognize that the flavor will intensify slightly the following day.

    After work tonight I stopped at a used book/cd/dvd/vinyl store. I found and bought three Grateful Dead vinyl albums. And inside one of them was a bunch of Dead stickers. :D
