    Got in my car and rolled the windows down...turned up The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes".... drove over to Starbucks and bought an iced bold venti with cream and two equal.... went to work with a smile on my face and a tune in my head...

    I'm posting the poetry I submitted for the Yale Series of Younger Poets on a blog http://inspiredpoetrysubmission.blogspot.com. I just posted the 10 haiku I included, and I felt so good about them. I really think I reached a few levels of understanding within each poem. I wrote these 4 years ago.

    I have to get back to writing haiku consistently as I think haiku are beautiful.
